Date: 13 / 07 / 2007 Time: 10:19

Nablus - Ma'an -

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Friday morning eight Palestinians in Nablus city and Balata refugee camp, in the north of the occupied West Bank, according to our correspondent in the city.

Israeli media sources said on the other hand that seven Palestinians were kidnapped across the occupied West Bank on Friday morning.

Palestinian security sources told our Nablus correspondent that the Israeli occupation forces raided the city and stormed many houses, searching them intensively.

The Israeli occupation soldiers then kidnapped eight Palestinians in Nablus' old city and Balata refugee camp, located in the east of the city.

Meanwhile, according to Hebrew media sources, the Israeli occupation army kidnapped five Palestinians in Nablus city, one in Jenin, also in the north of the occupied West Bank, and a seventh near Bethlehem city, in the south of the West Bank. All seven were transferred to interrogation centers to be questioned.

Israeli sources added that some clashes erupted during the kidnapping raids but no injuries were reported.
