Shadi Mutawar assassinated by Israeli occupation soldiers at a checkpoint, in Halhoul Palestinian man assassinated by Israeli occupation checkpoint soldiers in Halhoul Date: 23 / 06 / 2007 Time: 10:04 Hebron - Ma'an – A Palestinian man was killed late on Friday night when Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at Halhoul Bridge, north of Hebron, opened fire at him. He died instantly. Ma'an's correspondent reported that Shadi Mutawar, aged 25, was assassinated at a 'flying checkpoint', a non-permanent roadblock erected by Israeli soldiers, near the Halhoul Bridge. It is reported that the man was inspected by the soldiers, before they shot him. Medical sources confirmed that the Motawar received several bullets to his head and other parts of his body. The sources confirmed that he died instantly. Motawar's family told Ma'an: "Shadi went to bring some food, but he never returned. He was killed by the Israeli occupation soldiers at the bridge, not too far from our home." IOFs kill Palestinian youth in cold blood [ 23/06/2007 - 07:23 AM ] AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Friday night shot dead the Palestinian youth, Shadi Mutawar, at Halhul military roadblock near Al-Khalil city without any justification. Witnesses reported that the 25-year-old young man was killed when one of the soldiers shot him and a bullet hit his chest killing him instantly. They added that the soldiers searched Mutawar at the roadblock while on his way to buy foodstuff near his home before shooting at him without any apparent reason.
