Citizen Wounded in north Gaza

GAZA, June 9, 2007, (WAFA)-One citizen was wounded on Saturday by a group of "unknown" gunmen in the north of the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.

The sources said that Sha'ban al-Abyad 35, was hit in his upper and lower parts and transferred to al-Shifa hospital due to his serious condition.

Israeli Troops Storm Houses and Charity in Hebron

HEBRON, June 9, 2007, (WAFA)-

Israeli occupation Forces(IOF) invaded on Saturday a number of houses and a charity institution , during military operations carried out in different parts of the governorate of Hebron, south of the West Bank.

Security sources told WAFA Israeli occupation soldiers raided the house of the brothers Anis and Suleiman al- Khatib in Louzat Gharbi area, west Hebron city and damaged the contents of houses.

In the meantime, Israeli soldiers also surrounded the headquarters of the Islamic charity in the town of Yatta and stormed the house of Mohammed Abu Hamid. No arrests were reported.

IOFs Kidnap 13 Citizens in WB

HEBRON, June Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) kidnapped on Saturday thirteen citizens in the West Bank(WB) city of Hebron and Nablus, security sources said.

They added that Israeli soldiers stormed Yatta, Kharas and Taffouh towns and al-Arroub refugee camp, conducted a search campaign and kidnapped eleven citizens, leading them into an unknown location.

Israeli troops also stormed Nablus city and Balata refugee camp and kidnapped one citizen, leading him into an unknown spot. While another citizen was arrested at Beit Eba military checkpoint and led into an unknown destination, witnesses said.

In a wide scale campaign Israeli army kidnaps 11 Palestinian from Hebron city

Eleven Palestinian civilians were kidnapped on Saturday when Israeli forces attacked and searched scores of Palestinian homes in the Hebron city and nearby towns and villages located in the southern part of the West Bank.

The wide scale house to house search campaign targeted the old city of Hebron and nearby Yatta and Kharsinah towns also the village of Tafouha and Al Aroup refugee camp.

Witnesses reported that soldiers searched and ransacked homes casuing damage during the campaign the Israeli installed checkpoint on the streets and searched civilian cars.

Among those kidnapped were; Ma;mun Abu Judah, 18, Nur Al Den Al Badawi, 17, amd Mohamed Al Wahiodi, 17. All eleven were taken to unknown detention camps, local sources reported.
