Israeli occupation forces storm charitable society catering for orphans in Nablus

[ 27/10/2007 - 10:54 AM ]

NABLUS, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the city of Nablus at dawn Saturday and broke into the Tadamon charitable society catering for Palestinian orphans and confiscated all its content.

Local sources said that the soldiers forced their way into the society's headquarters in downtown Nablus and seized the computers and documents at the orphans' department.

In another incident, the Israeli occupation authority handed a number of citizens in Hares village, west of Salfit city, demolition notifications.

One of those citizens, Abdullah Daoud, said that the Israeli occupation forces handed him a written paper notifying him that his shop would be flattened because it was "illegally built" and asked for its immediate evacuation.

Daoud affirmed that the shop was built two years ago and none had told him it was "illegal".

He appealed to local, Arab and international human rights organizations to intervene and ward off the threat of demolishing his shop and many other homes in the village.
