Seven Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip on Friday

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that a total of seven Palestinians were killed in the Israeli military offensives that targeted several areas in the coastal region.

The sources stated that one resident died of wounds sustained earlier in the day as the army shelled As-Shuja'ia neighborhood, east of Gaza city.

The resident, Ahmad Hassanen, is a member of the Al-Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad. He was seriously injured during clashes with soldiers who invaded the area, supported by tanks and armored bulldozers, and died of his wounds later in the day.

Also on Friday, three fighters of the Al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, were killed east of Jabalia. The three were assassinated and the fourth was killed after exchanging fire with the invading forces.

One fighter was killed on Friday at noon near Al Salaam Mosque in Shuja'ia. Two other fighters, identified as Shadi Al-Zeina and Ahmad Hassanen are clinically dead after sustaining serious injuries as the army fired artillery shells at fighters in Shuja'ia. Several Palestinians were injured, some seriously.

Also, Abdul-Rahim Omar Hamdouna, 22, member of the Al-Qassam Brigades, was killed, and two residents were injured, one seriously after an Israeli drone fired a missile at them as they stood near a workshop in Shuja'ia

Resistance groups in the Gaza Strip stated that fighters managed to injure at least two soldiers and that fighters managed to destroy several military vehicles. An Israeli military source said that the two soldiers suffered mild injuries.

The invading forces used military bulldozers to uproots agricultural lands, and occupied several houses.

The Hamas-controlled Palestinian government in the Gaza Strip, slammed the Israeli military offensives, and stated that Israel stepped-up its operations in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip over the past two days.

Number of Palestinians killed in Israeli aggression on Gaza rose to six

GAZA, (PIC)-- The number of Palestinians killed during the Israeli aggression on the Shejaeyyah neighborhood in the Gaza Strip on Friday rose to six victims after a Palestinian resistance fighter died of serious wounds in the evening.

Palestinian medical sources reported that Ahmed Hassanain, affiliated with the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, died on Friday evening of injuries he suffered during the confrontation with the invading IOF troops.

For its part, the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, confirmed the death of Mohammed Shalbia, 26, at noon Friday after the IOF troops fired artillery shells at a group of the Palestinian resistance fighters to the east of the neighborhood.

Accordingly, the number of the Qassam fighters killed by IOF troops is three while the other three are from the Quds Brigades.

More than 20 Israeli tanks and bulldozers had invaded the Shejaeyyah neighborhood amid fierce bombardment, storming the Palestinian homes and bulldozing agricultural lands before withdrawing as a result of the death defiance of Palestinian resistance spearheaded by fighters of the Qassam Brigades.
