Israeli Occupation Forces Kidnap 11 Palestinians in the West Bank, Injure Citizens in Beit Hanoun, Clashes with Resistance Fighters in Qabatiya and Gaza

Citizens Wounded in Beit Hanoun

RAMALLAH-BEIT HANOUN, October 3, 2007 (WAFA)-

A group of citizens were wounded on Wednesday at dawn in the Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, WAFA correspondent said.

He added that Israeli Occupation Forces, stationed east Jabalya, fired at least one missile towards al-jamarek area in Beit Hanoun city, north Gaza Strip. The missile landed near a residential area, wounding some citizens and causing a state of fear and panic among children and women.

IOF Arrests 11 Citizens in WB

TULKAREM, October 3, 2007 (WAFA)-

At least eleven citizens were arrested on Wednesday morning in the West Bank(WB) city of Tulkarem, security sources said.

They told WAFA that massive of Israeli soldiers stormed Nour Shams camp, east Tulkarem at pre-dawn, conducted a search campaign into citizens’ houses and arrested nine citizens, leading them into an unknown location.

In the meantime, Israeli soldiers arrested two citizens from Ramon village ,east Ramallah city and led them into an unknown spot, witnesses said.

Al-Quds Brigades target invading Israeli forces in Qabatia

Jenin – Ma'an – 

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed group affiliated to the Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility on Wednesday for launching an explosive device at Israeli forces that had invaded the town of Qabatia, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, a source within the Brigades told Ma'an reporter.

No injuries have been reported.

The same source added that the device made a direct hit on the target.

Al-Qassam Brigades attack Israeli military vehicles

Gaza – Ma'an – 

The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades on Wednesday claimed responsibility for launching four mortar shells at Israeli military vehicles near the Sufa crossing.

PFLP unit targeted by Israeli missile

Gaza- Ma'an – 

The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) announced on Tuesday morning that one of its groups was targeted with a ground-to-ground missile in the northern Gaza Strip.

Ma'an received a statement from the brigades, saying that one of its units was exploring a hilltop area when they were targeted by Israeli forces. There were no reports of any injuries.
