Three Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza Strip

Rafah – Ma'an – 

Three Palestinians were killed on Wednesday morning in three separate incidents in the Gaza Strip.

One of the victims, twenty-year-old Muhammad Hassan, was a member of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed group affiliated to Hamas. He was killed after an Israeli occupation forces drone launched a missile at the Al-Salam neighborhood in eastern Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Ma'an's correspondent said. Another member of the Al-Qassam Brigades was injured in the same raid.

Palestinian medical sources said that Hassan died later in hospital of his injuries.

The Al-Qassam Brigades members were stationed near the Khaled Bin Al-Walid mosque in Rafah and were hit by an Israeli missile, Palestinian security sources told Ma'an.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian man in his twenties died after being shot in the head . Palestinian medical sources said Sa'id Al-Omari was shot by Israeli occupation forces while he was working on his farm in the Al-Fakhari neighborhood in eastern Khan Younis.

Eyewitnesses reported that an undercover Israeli occupation force (a death squad went into the Al-Fukhari under the cover of heavy gunfire.

A third man was killed during an alleged attempt to dig a tunnel near the Erez Crossing in Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.

The man has been named as 25-year-old Hamid Al-Rahil, a member of the Al-Qassam Brigades.

Medical sources told Ma'an that two other members of the group were injured digging the tunnel after it collapsed on them.

IOF missile raids kill two Palestinians in the Strip

GAZA, (PIC)-- 

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) missile raids killed a member of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, and a civilian in the Gaza Strip at dawn Wednesday, medical sources reported.

They said that Said Amor, 21, was killed in his house when an IOF warplane fired a missile at Fakhari area in the vicinity of Soufa crossing southeast of Khan Younis district.

The house collapsed over the head of Amori who was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and was later proclaimed dead.

IOF troops then stormed the Fakhari area and bulldozed cultivated lands and uprooted trees.

Meanwhile, the Qassam fighter was killed east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, when an IOF drone fired a missile at a group of fighters.

The QB said that Mohammed Hassan, 19, was killed on the spot while another wound was wounded.

In northern Gaza, a group of the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the PFLP armed wing, survived a similar IOF missile raid.

The armed wing said that the IOF fired a land-to-land missile at the group but missed it.

Two other Palestinians including a woman were wounded Tuesday night in the Old City of Al-Khalil when IOF soldiers opened indiscriminate fire at citizens after they saw a child playing with a plastic gun.

Medical sources said that the man was seriously wounded while injures of the woman was described as moderate.

The Qassam Brigades declared in a statement that they detonated three explosive devices, fired three anti-armored projectiles and four mortar shells at an IOF special force that tried to advance into Khuzaa town in Khan Younis district.

It added that the Qassam fighters engaged the troops after the attack that occurred shortly before dawn on Wednesday.

In a related development, Hebrew media said that 30 Israeli female conscripts refused orders to report to the Zikkim military base adjacent to the Gaza Strip fearing fro their lives from the Palestinian resistance missile attacks.

Israeli Artillery Kills One More Citizen in Rafah

RAMALLAH-RAFAH, October 3, 2007 (WAFA)-

Medical sources reported on Wednesday that one more citizen was killed as Israeli artilleries bombarded al-Salam neighbourhood in Rafah city, south Gaza Strip.

Hospital sources reported that Mohammed Bassam Hassan 23, was killed in early hours at dawn due to Israeli bombardment.

Early in the morning, Sa’eed al-Omari was killed as he was hit with live bullet in the neck and died in the European hospital.

Citizen Killed in Khan Younis

RAMALLAH-KHAN YOUNIS, October 3, 2007(WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed on Wednesday dawn a citizen in the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, WAFA correspondent said.

He added that Sa’aeed al-Omari died as he was hit in the head when Israeli soldiers stormed al-Fukhari area in KhanYounis and began shooting at citizens’ houses.

Al-Omari was transferred to European Gaza hospital, but he died of his serious wounds.
