9 Palestinians Killed in Friday Terrorist Israeli Occupation Forces Raids on Gaza

Israeli occupation forces withdraw from Gaza, leaving 9 dead

Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the central Gaza Strip at dawn on Saturday leaving nine dead and dozens injured in the previous 24 hours.

They stormed the eastern side of Al- Buraij refugee on Friday morning, killing seven and causing severe damage to Palestinian homes and bulldozing Palestinian agricultural lands.

Two members of Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, 31 year-old Muhamad Mustafa Al-Najjar and 26 year-old Mahmoud Al-Najjar were killed in were killed on Friday morning during an Israeli airstrike on a bunker belonging to the Brigades in the town of Khuza'a in the southern Gaza Strip.

Seven other people were killed in attacks on the Al-Buraij refugee camp.

Another Al-Qassam Brigades fighter, 24-year-old Munther Abu Hwaishel, was killed in an Israeli attack targeting Palestinian resistance fighters in Al-Bureij refugee camp.

24-year-old Yousuf Al-Maghazi, 18-year-old Jihad Muhammad Salim Abu Zubaydah Shehab, 18-year-old Mohammed Ahmad Abu Zubaydah and 19-year-old Abdul Al-Razeq Nofal were killed in Israeli shelling of Al-Bureij.

A Palestinian citizen was also killed by Israeli shelling in the camp.

13-year-old Yusuf Sarhan was killed by Israeli shelling east of Al-Bureij.

Medical sources reported that 12-year-old Riyadh Al-Owaisi was killed and five people were injured in clashes east of Al- Buraij refugee camp.

The Al-Qassam brigades claimed they fired 52 missiles, seven rocket propelled grenades and five rockets at Israeli targets, as well as detonating an explosive device at an Israeli tank.

Nine Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip on Friday, 28 wounded

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that Israeli forces killed nine Palestinians and injured 28 others in several attacks carried against the Gaza Strip on Friday. Most of the injuries were described as moderate.

The statement came after a fighter of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, died in an Israeli air strike that targeted Al-Buraij refugee camp, in the Central Gaza Strip on Friday evening.

On Friday noon, five Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when the army shelled a number of homes east of Al-Buraij refugee camp.

Medical sources reported that the bodies of five youth, and six other wounded residents, were transferred to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The five killed residents were identified as Shihab Abu Rabee’, 17, Jihad Abu Zubaida, 19, Yousuf Al-Mighari, 17, Abdul-Raziq Nofal, 19, and a 13-year old child who was later on identified as Yousuf Sarhan. Their bodies were severely mutilated, medical sources added.

Also, a 12-year old child, identified as Riyadh Al Owisy, died on Friday at noon after the army shelled his parents’ home east of Al-Buraij refugee camp. Eight residents were injured in the shelling, some seriously.

Moreover, two children were severely injured earlier on Friday when the army fired several shells at the camp.

On Friday at dawn, two fighters of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, were killed when the Israeli air force shelled a center which belongs to the brigades in Khuza’a town, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.  The two fighters were identified as Mohammad Al-Najjar and Amin Al-Najjar.

At least 15 Palestinians, including civilians and children, were killed in the Gaza Strip since Wednesday. The recent offensive was carried out after resistance fighters killed two Israelis in an attack against the Nahal Oz military base in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
