Two Palestinians killed in separate IOF raids

BEIT HANUN, (PIC)--

Two Palestinians were killed late Sunday and early Monday in two IOF air raids in northern and southern Gaza including a member of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

The armed wing said in a communiqué that 'Ekrema Abu Oda, 22, was killed in a Zionist aerial bombing east of Beit Hanun.

It said that the Qassam fighters were confronting an IOF unit that infiltrated into northern Gaza at 0240 am local time Monday when an IOF reconnaissance plane fired missiles at a group of the fighters killing Abu Oda and wounding four others.

The Qassam Brigades said that its fighters fired an anti-personnel projectile at the invading force and opened machineguns at its members.

Medical sources on Sunday told PIC reporter in Rafah that an IOF missile raid on a civilian car east of Rafah city killed a Palestinian citizen and wounded four others one of them was reportedly in a critical condition.

They said that Nour Al-Dabari was killed near Shouka town east of Rafah when his car was hit with two missiles, and added that a third missile blasted near the home of a Palestinian citizen but no casualties were reported.

After killing one Palestinian and kidnapping 27 others the army leaves northern Gaza

The Israeli army killed one Palestinian resistance fighter, injured four others and kidnapped at least 27 civilians during an invasion targeting the northern part of the Gaza strip on Monday.

On Monday at dawn Israeli tanks and bulldozers invaded the town of Beit Hannon, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, troops searched and ransacked homes before kidnapping 27 civilians from the same family, local sources reported.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, said that 'Ekremah Abu Odah, 22, was one of the brigades fighters who was killed, and four other civilians were injured when an Israeli unmanned plane fired missiles at a group of resistance fighters who were trying to stop the army from invading. Witnesses said that troops left Beit Hannon on Monday late morning. Meanwhile another civilian was killed overnight during an Israeli air raid targeting the city of Rafah in the southern part of the coastal region.

A Palestinian activist affiliated to Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades was killed on Monday morning when Israeli helicopters targeted a group of fighters in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. The dead fighter was named as 22-year-old 'Ekrima Abu 'Uda. The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that a group of their fighters clashed with an undercover Israeli force and fired a homemade shell at them in the early hours of the morning.

Separately, the military wing affiliated to Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades said their fighters countered a group of Israeli troops who penetrated into Al-Qarara in the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening. Also on Sunday evening, a Palestinian man Nur Al-Dabari was killed in an Israeli air strike on a car in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Several bystanders were also injured in the attack.
