Clashes as 20 Israeli occupation military vehicles, bulldozers invade town near Hebron

Twenty Israeli occupation military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the West Bank town of Taffouh, west of the city of Hebron, on Wednesday morning.

Young Palestinian men responded by throwing stones at the invading forces. Israeli occupation troops fired at them with rubber coated metal bullets and sound grenades at the Palestinians.

Local and security sources told Ma’an that Israeli occupation troops are conducting house to house searches, causing property damage.

Israeli bulldozers demolish three Palestinian homes in Jerusalem

Israeli bulldozers accompanied by the Israeli occupation army, demolished three Palestinian houses in Jerusalem at midday on Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses said that the bulldozers demolished the houses immediately, banning family members from rescuing any of their belongings before the houses were destroyed..

Clashes occurred between the army and civilians, causing Israeli troops to harrass women and children and creating a state of panic.

The Israeli occupation army claimed that the houses were built without the needed permission. However, since Israel occupied Jerusalem in 1967 it has rarely given its Palestinian residents any form of documentation for their land or homes or permission to build.

Israeli settlers assault a Palestinian child in Hebron

A group of Israeli settlers attacked the West Bank city of Hebron on Wednesday, wounding a young Palestinian child.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli settlers attacked civilians by throwing glass bottles and stones. A local Palestinian child suffered injuries to the head, and was transferred to a local hopsital.

Israeli settlers have conducted daily attacks on Hebron throughout the week. Settlers are usually backed by Israeli soldiers who rarely move to stop their aggression against Palestinian civilians.

Palestinian businessman detained on return from Amman

According to Palestinian security sources, Israeli military forces rendited a Palestinian businessman from Nablus on his return to Palestine from Jordan.

The sources said that Israeli forces seized fifty-five year old Fuad Jarwan, chair of the Lud Charity and member of the board of directors of Al-Itiman company. The Al-Itiman real estate company was closed by Israeli army last Sunday, after accusations by the Israeli government that it had been financing Hamas.

According to the sources, Jarwan was taken to Ofer detention center for investigation.

Four civilians taken from Hebron

The Israeli army invaded Yatta village south of Hebron on Wednesday at midday. Four civilians were kidnapped.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles invaded the village and spread through the streets. A series of houses were searched, causing damage to several properties.

Troops kidnapped four civilians from the village and took them to unknown detention camps.

Islamic Jihad: Israel using negotiation as a smokescreen for 'crimes'

The Islamic Jihad movement urged an end to the negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and Israel, saying that Israel is using the talks to cover for "crimes and violations" in Jerusalem.

Islamic Jihad spokesperson Walid Hallas told Ma'an that is also taking advantage of the Palestinian internal political crisis to consolidate control over Jerusalem.

Of particular concern for Islamic Jihad is the Al-Aqsa Mosque itself. The movement says Israel is "plotting against" the Mosque.

Yet he said the implementation of any designs on the mosque would "unite the hearts of all Muslims" around the Palestinian cause. The Palestinian people, he said, Palestinians would not "stand idly by," should any harm come to the mosque.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site in Islam.

Palestinian boy shot at by Israeli occupation army

The Israeli occupation army invaded Deheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem early Wednesday, and injured an unarmed Palestinian boy.

Eye witnesses reported that a number of Israeli military vehicles invaded the camp at dawn. Troops shot grenades, live rounds and sound bombs at random, wounding a sixteen year old boy with shrapnel from a bullet. The actual purpose of the incursion is still unclear.

Medical sources reported that the boy was transferred to a local hospital and he is suffering from a moderate injury.

The Israeli army invades West Bank cities

The Israeli army invaded on Tuesday dawn the West Bank cities of Bethlehem, Tulkarem and Salfit kidnapping one civilian as reported by local sources.

Israeli army invaded Beit Jala a city nearby Bethlehem, eyewitnesses reported that several military vehicles invaded the city and surrounded the residents of Rizqallah family kidnapping one of the family members and took him to an unknown destination.

In the West Bank city of Tulkarem a number of Israeli vehicles invaded the city and nearby villages, troops centered in several areas and shot gunfire, they also searched and ransacked houses of civilians leaving damages behind.

In addition, Israeli troops invaded Yasuf village east of the West Bank city of Salfit and lunched a search campaign over a number of houses, troops attacked a 6o year old civilian causing him several bruises and he was transferred to a local hospital
