Raed Salah to Jordanian Rally: Al-Aqsa Mosque Suffers Daily Attacks, Closure of Foundation an Attempt to Conceal Truth

Salah to Jordanian rally: Aqsa suffers daily attacks

[ 25/08/2008 - 05:17 PM ]

AMMAN, (PIC)--

Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 areas, has warned that the holy Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem is subjected to daily attacks at the hands of the Zionist occupiers.

He told a rally in Jordan organized by the professional syndicates on the 39th anniversary of the burning of the Aqsa at the hands of a Jewish fanatic that Jerusalem was facing judaization conspiracy targeting its inhabitants and land.

Salah, in a recorded speech to the rally, said that all Arabs and Muslims should continue to defend Jerusalem, emphasizing that regardless of lapse of time the Zionist occupation of Jerusalem would come to an end one day.

Another speaker, Dr. Zuhair Abu Faris, the chairman of the doctors' syndicate in Jordan, warned that Zionists are getting closer to their dream of demolishing the Aqsa to build their alleged temple on its ruins.

The "dangerous diggings", which are progressing round the clock, point to the Zionists' intention in this regard, he underlined, adding that each and every Muslim individual is to blame for doing nothing in face of such a development.

Zionist occupation, depending on "alleged Torah scripts", covers up its "expansionist, aggressive and criminal schemes with religious features while we Arabs and Muslims are still talking diplomacy and speak about reasoning, wisdom and compromise solutions", Dr. Abu Faris said.

Khudari: Closure of Aqsa foundation targets concealing truth

[ 25/08/2008 - 11:24 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)--

MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the chairman of the popular anti siege committee, has denounced the Israeli closure of the Aqsa Foundation in Um Al-Faham, occupied since 1948, charging that it was intended to conceal the IOA practices.

Khudari in a press release on Monday said that the step aimed to cover up for judaization schemes in occupied Jerusalem and the excavations in the vicinity of the holy Aqsa Mosque.

The closure is also related to the IOA siege and blockade of all Palestinian areas, the MP said and called for Arab and Islamic protests against such arbitrary measures.

He also championed an official Arab and Islamic act to stop the IOA campaign against Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque and to protect them in face of Israeli practices.

Concerning field developments, an IOF unit intruded into Nablus city at dawn Monday and broke into a number of civilian homes firing at random in the process and injuring a Palestinian citizen.

An IOF military source said that an explosive device was detonated near one of the army jeeps but said that no casualties were sustained.

IOF soldiers also stormed Ramallah city and a number of villages in Salfit and Jenin district as the Hebrew radio said that the army soldiers rounded up six Palestinians in Ramallah.
