Dozens injured at Ni'lin demonstration

Dozens of demonstrators were injured in the West Bank village of Ni'in on Thursday when Israeli occupation forces responded violently to a march marking the death of Yousuf 'Amira who was shot and killed by Israeli forces last week.

On Tuesday night Israeli forces stormed the house of Zurul 'Amira and detained a member of the Popular Committee against the Israeli wall in the village, Salah Tayeh.

On Thursday the demonstrators approached the Israeli construction vehicles, hoping to block their work on the Israeli separation wall. They were showered with rubber-coated metal bullets and sound bombs.

The coordinator of the Ni'lin committee Ahed Al-Khawaja said on Thursday that the Israeli forces took advantage of a mourning period in the village to push work forward on the wall, which local officials say will result in the confiscation of much of the town's farmland.

Al-Khawaja said that the Israeli attacks would not stop the demonstrations, but rather increase them.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Bethlehem woman accused of trying to stab Israeli soldier

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 26-year-old Sana' Sulaiman Abdul Salah from Al-Khader village near Bethlehem on Wednesday evening, the Palestinian Prisoners' Society in Bethlehem reported on Thursday.

She was arrested at the Israeli checkpoint near Rachel's Tomb in northern Bethlehem, which Palestinians with permits traverse to reach Jerusalem, and is accused of trying to stab an Israeli soldier there while was waiting to proceed to Jerusalem. Israeli forces took her to the interrogation center at the Russian Compound in Jerusalem.

Her family reported that she suffers from vision and skin problems, and appealed for human rights organizations and international institutions to intervene for her release.

Israeli occupation forces detain five civilians in Jenin district incursions

Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinian civilians during several dawn raids in the Jenin governorate on Thursday, transferring them to an unknown location.

Israeli forces stormed Jenin refugee camp and detained 50-year-old Qassim Al-Sa'adi ("Abu Rabi'a") after storming his house and searching it, Palestinian security sources reported.

Abu Rabi'a is the brother of prisoner Bassam As-Sa'adi, who served five and a half years in Israeli jails and was recently given a six-month administration detention order by an Israeli military court so that he would remain in custody. Another two of his brothers, as well as his nephew and his brother's wife are also in Israeli prisons serving different sentences.

Israeli forces also stormed Silat Al-Dhahr, southwest of Jenin, and detained two brothers, Zakaria and Bakir Al-Maloul, aged 18 and 22.

In the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, Israeli forces detained 19-year-old Muhammad Samir Saleh Salah and 18-year-old Ahmad Khalid Yassin.

Eyewitnesses added that Israeli forces searched the town and neighboring agricultural lands and stormed a number of houses in the western and eastern parts of the town with the help of police dogs.

Israeli forces also patrolled the streets of Kafr Ra'i and Arraba, southwest of Jenin, for about two hours with no detentions reported.

Dozens suffer from Gas inhalation, 3 injured in Ni'lin non-violent protest

The Israeli occupation army attacked on Thursday midday a non violent protest in Ni'lin village southern the central West Bank city of Ramallah, kidnapping 2, injuring 3 and causing dozens to suffer from gas inhalation, local sources reported.

A group of peace activists, internationals and Ni'lin villagers marched a non violent protest against the apartheid wall being built on the village lands and against the closures, killings, and kidnappings the Israeli army attacked the protest and during clashes 3 protesters were injured by the Israeli rubber bullets, and dozens suffered from gas inhalation due to the Israeli tear gas.

In addition, The Israeli occupation army kidnapped two members from the local popular committee against the wall and settlement construction.

Eye witnesses reported that a number of Israeli military vehicles centered at the village and nearby the wall banning any protestor from coming near. Moreover Israeli troops announced the area a closed military zone and banned villagers from reaching their farm lands.

Israeli occupation army kidnaps a civilian in Hebron

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the southern West Bank city of Hebron and nearby villages on Thursday midday.

Troops invaded Sureef village, north west of Hebron, and kidnapped Naοf Brathiya, 21, after ransacking his residence.

Moreover, soldiers invaded Bait Ommar nearby village, searched and ransacked several houses for a couple of hours after forcing the civilians out of their homes.

The Israeli occupation army kidnaps a Palestinian girl from Bethlehem

The Israeli occupation army kidnapped a Palestinian girl from Al Khader village near the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Thursday morning.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that the Israeli troops kidnapped The 26-year-old Sana' Salah at an Israeli military checkpoint located north of Bethlehem, accusing her of stabbing an Israeli soldier.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that she was taken to the Russian Compound Prison (Al Maskubiye), located in Western Jerusalem, pending further investigation.

The girls family reported that she suffers from impaired vision and to shellfish disease. The family called for a quick intervention by international institutions for human rights.

Israeli toccupation roops invade West Bank cities, kidnap 6 civilians

The Israeli occupation army attacked the West Bank cities of Jenin, Ramallah, Tubas and Tulkarem on Thursday at dawn, local sources reported.

In the West Bank city of Jenin, a number of Israeli military vehicles invaded the city at dawn. Israeli troops shot gunfire at random. In addittion they searched and ransacked several houses in nearby villages kidnapping a total of five civilians.

Meanwhile, a number of Israeli special forces raided one of the local restaurants in the central West Bank city of Ramallah and kidnapped a 21 year old civilian, taking him to an unknown destination.

Moreover, Israeli troops invaded the West Bank city of Tubas three times this morning. Israeli forces spread throughout the city and erected several checkpoints at the entrances of nearby villages.

Also in the West Bank city of Tulkarem and Israeli army searched and ransacked a taxi office and confiscated a number of taxies leaving drastic damages behind. The Israeli troops stayed in the city for over four hours.
