Israeli Occupation Forces Injure 3 Palestinians, Kidnap 4, Demolish 3 Houses in the West Bank


Three Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers in Al-Khadr

Three young Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers in the southern West Bank town of Al-Khadr, south of Bethlehem, on Sunday night, Palestinian security sources said.

The sources named the injured as 16-year-old Khalid Salah, 20-year-old Muhammad Issa and 22-year-old Ahmad Sbeih. They were evacuated to Al-Husssain hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Jala for treatment. They reportedly sustained slight injuries in their feet.

Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli patrol invaded the old city of Al-Khadr near the football stadium and ransacked several shops and houses. No arrests have been reported.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap PFLP member at checkpoint near Nablus

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a Palestinian affiliated to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) at the Beit Fourik checkpoint east of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses told Ma'an's reporter that the Israelis kidnapped 32-year-old Wael Hanini, who is from the northern West Bank town of Beit Dajan, as he was heading to Nablus.

The Israelis, according to eyewitnesses, raided Hanini's house two days ago, but he was not there at the time.

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped three Palestinians in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a Palestinian citizen from the West Bank town of Kafr Dan, near Jenin on Sunday, witnesses said.

The sources told Ma'an that ten Israeli occupation military vehicles raided the town and surrounded the home of Subhi 'Abid in the town's western neighborhood. The soldiers ordered the residents through loudspeakers to leave the house. Then the soldiers ransacked the building, firing sound grenades before kidnapping Mustafa 'Abid.

In the same regard, Israeli sources said that the army apprehended two Palestinian activists in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, and one in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces to demolish three Palestinian houses near Tulkarem

Israeli occupation forces will demolish three houses in the West Bank village of Fara'oan, near Tulkarem, on Sunday. Israeli Authorities have inhabitants of until Sunday to quit the area, the head of the town's municipal council, Abdul-Kareem Omar, said.

Omar said that two houses were demolished in the village in 2000, and three others in 2006. He said that Israeli officials claimed that the houses were built without hard-to-obtain construction permits, and that they were built in Israeli-controlled Area C of the West Bank, as designated by the Oslo peace accords.

A lawyer filed a petition with the Israeli court at Beit Eil, asking for a delay on the demolition, but he has received no response.
