110-year-old Palestinian, Ahmed Yousuf Al-Zamil, man passes away

Nablus –

One of Palestine's oldest citizens, 110-year– old Ahmed Yousuf Al-Zamil from the northern West Bank village of Dair Al-Hatab east of Nablus passed away on Tuesday.

The deceased's grandson told Ma'an's reporter that his grandfather was not suffering from any chronic illnesses and that his memory was good right up until th end of his life.

Ahmed Al-Zamil, who was born during Ottoman rule in Palestine, used to work in his olive groves on a daily basis. He only stopped working a few years ago.

He is survived by more than seventy grandchildren.
