Israeli occupation soldiers kidnap Palestinian teenager near Bethlehem

Israeli occupation soldiers manning the container checkpoint to the north east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem kidnapped on Tuesday a Fatah activist from the northern West Bank town of Qaffen, near Tulkarem.

Fatah sources in Tulkarem said that Israeli occupation soldiers at the checkpoint stopped a taxi and arrested 18-year-old Sumama Tu'ma who was visiting his relatives in Bethlehem.

Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted a 53-year-old Palestinian worker a checkpoint near Ramallah on Monday

Fawwaz Amarna, a resident of Shwaika north of the West Bank city of Tulkarem, was treated at Thabit Thabit hospital after being beaten and bruised by the Israeli troops.

Amarna is an activist with the workers' movement in the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). The DFLP workers' movement in Tulkarem issued a statement condemning the attack.

Israeli occupation forces raid Azzun, impose curfew

Israeli occupation forces stormed the northern West Bank town of Azzun, near the city of Qalqilia, on Monday evening and a imposed curfew, eyewitnesses told Ma'an.

According to the witnesses, several Israeli occupation military vehicles invaded the town amidst heavy fire and sonic bombs before ordering the residents into their homes through loudspeakers.

Ma'an received a telephone call from a spokesperson of Fatah's armed wing, the Al-Aqsa Brigades, in Azzun claiming responsibility for opening fire and hurling a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli settler's car travelling near the town.

Bethlehem – Ma'an –

The Israeli occupation forces announced on Tuesday that they have detained 17 Palestinians in the West Bank on they call 'security charges.'

According to Israeli sources, the detainees were from Hebron and Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and Ramallah in the central West Bank.

The Israeli army claimed that two rifles have been seized in one of the abductees' homes in Hebron.
