Israeli Occupation Forces Kidnap 20 Palestinians from Refugee Camps, Towns, at Checkpoints

In a night of mass kidnappings, Israeli forces kidnap at least 30 across West Bank

Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale kidnapping campaign against Palestinian youth in the West Bank before sunrise on Tuesday.

More than 30 individuals were kidnapped, mostly from the Al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and mostly men under thirty.

Dozens of Israeli occupation forces vehicles carried out the biggest invasion of the Al-Fawwar camp in six months. Several houses were inspected and ransacked, and families were forced at gunpoint to leave their homes to the street.

Israeli occupation forces claimed two hunting rifles were seized from the camp as well as 100 bullets and military equipment.

Local sources estimated that 20 youth from the camp were detained.

54-year-old Mustafa Abu Awwad

In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a girl from the village of Beit Fourik and three boys at the Huwwara c and Beit Iba checkpoints south and west of Nablus.

Local sources said Israeli occupation forces stormed Beit Fourik, occupied three homes and forced the families into a single room as the home was ransacked. The Israeli occupation soldiers temporarily kidnapped Khaled Urabi, Nasser Hanini and Nabil Hanini, then kidnapped 37-year-old Nibal Imleitat after beating her. She was taken to Huwwara checkpoint where she was released hours later.

In the Bethlehem district, Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Azza refugee camp north of Bethlehem city, and the town of Nahhalin where they kidnapped two more residents.

Palestinian security sources in Bethlehem said eight military vehicles entered Al-Azza camp at dawn, and kisnapped 21-year-old Ali Qaraqi after ransacking his family home.

In Nahalin, eyewitnesses said Israeli occupation forces stormed a house in the village and kidnapped a pharmacist, 36-year-old Ayed Al-Neis.
