GAZA, (PIC)--

Two members of the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, were killed at an early hour on Wednesday in an Israeli aerial raid that targeted them east of Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.

Abu Hamza, a spokesman for the armed wing, said in a telephone contact with the PIC that the two martyrs Wasim Mansour and Mahmoud Hammad were on their way back from an advanced monitoring position when they were targeted in the aerial shelling.

He said that a third fighter and a number of citizens were wounded in the same raid.

The spokesman said that the bodies of the two fighters were shredded in the blast that directly hit them.

Local sources said that an armed clash took place between a number of resistance elements and Israeli occupation forces east of Maghazi that was followed by the air raid.

JABALIA, (PIC)--

The armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Quds Brigades, announced the assassination of one of its field commanders in northern Gaza late Wednesday night in an Israeli occupation forces' targeted raid.

It said in a communiqué that Khaled Sha'alan, 24, was seriously wounded in the raid but later succumbed to his wounds, noting that another fighter accompanying Sha'alan was injured in the attack.

The Quds Brigades stressed that the "crime would not go unpunished", and reserved the right to retaliate to the crime at the opportune time and place.

The IOF raid targeted a civilian car in one of the Jabalia refugee camp's streets, wounding seven citizens including two seriously, according to a preliminary medical report.

In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation authority handed notifications to 15 citizens in the Nablus district that they should evacuate their homes, animal pens and water wells in Aqraba village by 26/3/2009 maximum in preparation for demolishing them.

Local sources said that an Israeli force accompanied members of the so-called organization department who delivered the notifications, and noted that some of those homes were built even before the Israeli occupation the West Bank in 1967.
