Gholam Ejele Says Iranian Intelligence Minister to Chase Zionist War Criminals

Iranian Intelligence Ministry to Chase Zionist Criminals

7  Rabi Al-Awwal  1430 /  Thursday 05 Mar 2009

TEHRAN (FNA)-

Iran will compile a list of Israeli officials and military commanders who have committed war crimes in the recent 22-day onslaught on Gaza to prepare a case for legal action against the Zionist regime, Intelligence Minister Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejeie said.

"The intelligence ministry will adopt the (required) measures to identify the Zionist criminals and present their names to the judiciary," Ejeie told reporters on Wednesday on the sidelines of an international conference on support for Palestine and Gaza dubbed as 'Palestine the Model of Resistance, Gaza the Victim of Crime'.

The minister added that Iran has made good efforts regarding the issue and urges the Islamic countries to help the Islamic Republic in this regard.

Noting that if Muslim states form a united front to deal with the issue, the Zionist regime will not be able to attain its goals, he reiterated, "With forming a united front, the ground will be prepared to punish the criminals as soon as possible."

The Iranian minister referred to the Zionists' crimes against the defenseless Palestinians, and expressed hope that the regime would experience a downfall soon.

Asked about Tehran's possible response to Israel's recent threats, Ejeie said, "Israel is too small to threaten Iran."

He said holding such conferences on support for Palestine will cause more unity among Islamic nations and governments.
