JENIN, (PIC)--

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed four Palestinian water wells in Deir Abu Da'if village, east of Jenin city, on Wednesday and served a demolition notice to the owner of an olive pressing factory.

Local sources said that IOF bulldozers leveled the four wells without prior notice, noting that the soldiers intentionally sabotaged the water pumps in those wells and nearby agricultural fields.

Meanwhile, Nasser Yassin reported that the IOF soldiers handed him a notice that his olive pressing factory would be razed because it was built in area C, which is under Israeli control.

JENIN, (PIC)--

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Thursday the homes of a number of Hamas officials in Jenin city including the houses of former Palestinian minister Wasfi Kabha and Shaikh Khaled Al-Hajj.

Eyewitness said that dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded Al-Basateen neighborhood in the city at three o'clock in the morning and stormed and ransacked the apartment of Kabha before interrogating him.

The soldiers also questioned member of Hamas's political bureau Sheikh Hajj after a violent raid on his apartment in a nearby building in the same area.

The homes of lawyer Fadel Bushnaq and Hamas official Ghassan Al-Zugeibi were also raided and both of them were interrogated. The soldiers did not kidnap anyone during this campaign.

The Hebrew radio, for its part, reported that eight Palestinian citizens were kidnapped at dawn Thursday during Israeli military raids in different West Bank areas, especially in Qalqiliya, Bethlehem and Al-Khalil, claiming that the detainees are suspected of being involved in activities against Israel.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, however, said that the IOF troops kidnapped five Palestinians on the same day at dawn from the cities of Qalqiliya, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Al-Khalil.

In a separate incident, undercover soldiers masquerading as Arabs kidnapped six Palestinian minors from Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday evening.

An eyewitness said the soldiers ambushed the children and rounded them up as they were returning from their school, adding that the detainees are aged between 11 and 15 years old, but the soldiers released the youngest child before taking the rest to police headquarters.

Other local sources reported that the Israeli police handed a 14-year old child called Mahmoud Ghaith a summons to go to its headquarters and was detained on Tuesday after he went to the police station with one of his relatives on allegations of attacking four Israeli soldiers during this month after Israeli troops assaulted his mother and brother in Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan.
