20 ISIS members killed by coalition bombing north of Mosul

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Nineveh Province announced on Tuesday, that 20 members of the so-called ISIS were killed in an aerial bombing carried out by the international coalition aviation north of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The media official in Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Ghyath Alsurji said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aircraft targeted ISIS headquarters in Rashidiya area north of Nineveh Province, killing 20 ISIS members.”

Alsurji added, “The bombing resulted in the destruction of the headquarters and four military vehicles.”

10 ISIS members killed by Iraqi bombardments in southern Kirkuk

A security source in Kirkuk announced on Monday, that ten ISIS members, including a prominent leader, were killed by a number of aerial bombardments on ISIS headquarters in southern the province (250 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The aircraft of the Iraqi Air Force bombed ISIS headquarters near al-Rashad area (55 km south of Kirkuk), killing ten ISIS gunmen including a senior leader called Muhammad Harbi Mutlaq al-Jawali.”

The security source added, “The artillery of al-Hashed Turkmeni shelled ISIS headquarters in Qasbat Bashir and its vicinity in southern Kirkuk.”

6 Iraqi army members killed, wounded in car bomb explosion south of Baghdad

A source in the Ministry of Interior announced on Monday that six members of the Iraqi army were either killed or wounded in the explosion of a car bomb south of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a car bomb parked on the roadside exploded targeting a convoy of the Iraqi army while passing in al-Latifiya area south of Baghdad, killing an army member and wounding five others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while cordoned off the area and prevented approaching it.”

Security forces cleanse Doulab–Baghdadi road, 41 ISIS militants killed

On Monday, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Operations Command in Anbar Province, that the security forces were able to cleanse the road linking between Doulab and al-Baghdadi west of Ramadi, while killed 41 ISIS militants.

The commander of al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Operations Command Maj. Gen. Ali Ibrahim Dabon said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces managed to cleanse 19 kilometers of the old road linking between al-Doulab area and al-Baghdadi District, and were able to kill 41 ISIS militants including Arabs and foreigners.”

8 ISIS members killed by international coalition bombing in central Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced on Monday, that eight members of the so-called ISIS were killed in an aerial bombardment carried out by the international coalition aviation on ISIS gathering in central Mosul.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s official in Mosul Ghyath Alsurji said in a brief statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aircraft bombed ISIS gathering in Ghazlani camp in central Mosul, killing at least eight ISIS members.”

Alsurji added, “The air strike also destroyed two vehicles belonging to ISIS members.”

22 ISIS fighters killed in aerial bombing in eastern Fallujah

The leadership of al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Monday, that 22 ISIS members were killed in an aerial bombardment targeted ISIS food supply in eastern Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad).

The commander of al-Hashd al-Shaabi’s 1st brigade, Colonel Mahmoud Mardi Jumaili, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today the international coalition aircraft carried out an air strike targeted ISIS economic hub in Abdul Ouda area in al-Karma District (19 km east of Fallujah), killing 22 ISIS fighters.”

Jumaili added, “The air strike also resulted in the destruction of a food supply and medical materials that were used to finance ISIS terrorists in al-Karma areas in eastern Fallujah.”

Military Strikes Target ISIL in Iraq

 U.S. and coalition military forces continued to attack Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Iraq and Syria yesterday, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Officials reported details of the latest strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.

Strikes in Iraq

Attack, fighter, ground attack and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 11 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government:

-- Near Baghdadi, a strike struck an ISIL staging area.

-- Near Huwayjah, a strike destroyed an ISIL tunnel system.

-- Near Fallujah, five strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and an ISIL staging area and destroyed three ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL mortar positions, an ISIL bulldozer, an ISIL front-end loader, an ISIL recoilless rifle and three ISIL bed-down locations.

-- Near Mosul, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed three ISIL anti-air artillery pieces and an ISIL vehicle.

-- Near Sinjar, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL fighting position.

-- Near Waleed, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit.

Rocket artillery and bomber, fighter, ground-attack, and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 20 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government:

-- Near Baghdadi, eight strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit, two ISIL weapons storage facilities, and three ISIL bed down locations and destroyed three ISIL bunkers and denied ISIL access to terrain.

-- Near Qaim, a strike struck an ISIL bomb-making facility.

-- Near Beiji, a strike destroyed an ISIL fighting position and an ISIL bomb.

-- Near Fallujah, three strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL-used bridge, an ISIL fighting position, two ISIL heavy machine guns, an ISIL bunker, and an ISIL tunnel system.

-- Near Hit, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed four ISIL heavy machine guns and an ISIL recoilless rifle.

-- Near Kirkuk, a strike destroyed an ISIL command and control node and an ISIL-used bridge.

-- Near Mosul, three strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed two ISIL weapons caches, an ISIL check point, two ISIL vehicles, and an ISIL bomb.

-- Near Qayyarah, a strike destroyed two ISIL mortar systems.

-- Near Beiji, a strike destroyed three ISIL bunkers.

-- Near Fallujah, eight strikes struck six separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed three ISIL fighting positions, an ISIL heavy machine gun, three ISIL vehicles, and denied ISIL access to terrain.

-- Near Kirkuk, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL command and control node, an ISIL vehicle, two ISIL assembly areas, and an ISIL bomb storage facility.

-- Near Kisik, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL tunnel entrance.

-- Near Mosul, five strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL weapons cache, an ISIL assembly area, and three ISIL supply caches and suppressed two separate ISIL fighting positions.

-- Near Qayyarah, a strike produced inconclusive results.

-- Near Sinjar, two strikes destroyed an ISIL bomb and two ISIL asphalt steamrollers.
