At least 7 citizens were killed and 4 wounded following an air raid waged by the US-backed coalition on the area of Rabsa in the district of Hawk, a local source confirmed to YemenExtra.

Today’s situation of southern Yemen

Jun 27, 2018, YemenExtra, Y.A

A commander loyal to US-Saudi-led coalition was injured in a bomb blast in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, a local official told YemenExtra on Wednesday.

The accident took place in Khor Maksar district.

The bomb was planted by unknown elements , which targeted a car of so-called the103rd Brigade Colonel AbdulQader al-Jarai, who was wounded with two of his companions were seriously injured.

Aden city, which was occupied by UK but now under the control of UAE, and the rest of the southern cities witnessed an insecurity situation that increased the assassinations of imams of mosques and security and military leaderships

The province of Aden witnesses a security fiasco that escalated with killings, looting issues , in addition to others that never happened before.

The UAE took control of Aden under the pretext of confronting the so –called “Houthis” Yemeni army and supported the establishment and formation of armed militias there.

A few months ago, Emirati-backed forces were fighting and killing Saudi-backed forces in Aden. The south is moving towards outright autonomy . But which Saudi and Emirati officials will dare to tell their superiors that Tehran enmeshed them in a costly, apparently endless war at relatively little cost to itself? The entrenchment of a war economy is another significant obstacle to peace.

The Losses amid US-Saudi-Led Coalition: Report Says

Jun 27, 2018, YemenExtra, Y.A

The Yemeni army keep responding to US-Saudi-led coalition that has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to crush the popular Houthi Ansarullah movement and reinstate former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of the Riyadh regime. The Arab kingdom has also imposed a blockade on its impoverished neighbor, causing a dire humanitarian situation.

The Yemeni army faced an advance of the paid fighters , killing and wounding a number of them in #Nehm, according to a military official.

The engineering unit of the Army destroyed a military machinery in Al-Fazah area, killing those on board , as well as the  artillery force targeted an arms storage for the paid fighters ,burning it completely in #the West Coast, it added.

Katyusha missile barrage were fired on Saudi soldiers gatherings; a Saudi military truck was destroyed by a bomb; 2 Saudi soldiers were shot dead ;and a number of Saudi soldiers were killed and injured in the MBC post by artillery shelling in #Jizan, it confirmed.

It also reported the killing and injuring a number of paid fighters by offensive operation in #Asir.

A number of the paid fighters fell dead and wounded as the Yemeni army foiled an advance of them in #Taiz.

A number of hills which the paid fighters controlled before were exposed to an operation, seizing equipment and destroyed a military truck in #Lahj, read it.

The artillery force targeted the paid fighters’ gatherings , and 2 paid fighters were shot dead in #Najran.

Despite the coalition’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

According to several reports, the Saudi-led air campaign against Yemen has driven the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster, as Saudi Arabia’s deadly campaign prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country.

Yemen is the world’s largest humanitarian crisis with more than 22 million people in need and is seeing a spike in needs, fuelled by ongoing conflict, a collapsing economy and diminished social services and livelihoods.
