63 Syrians and 4 Americans Killed in Attacks, Others in US Air Strikes, in Non-Ending War

The Syrian regime forces renew the shelling on areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and targets the south of Idlib, north of Hama, and west of Jisr al-Shughur

The breaches renewed in the Putin – Erdogan agreement and the Turkish – Russian truce, where the regimes and militiamen loyal to them targeted by rocket shells areas on the outskirts of al-Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and other areas around al-Najeya town in the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur. here was no information about casualties, amid renewed shelling by the regime forces on areas in the vicinity of Kafr Zita and al-Janabera village in the northern countryside of Hama, which caused material damage.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the violations are still increasing and expanding in areas of the Russian – Turkish truce in the 4 provinces and the demilitarized areas of Putin –Erdogan, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces targeted areas in the towns of Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, and the villages of al-Sayyad and M’aarkbeh within the demilitarized area in the northern countryside of Hama.

Iraqi warplanes and non-Syrian regime allies take part in operations of ending ISIS and kill 20 members by shelling the last 15 km² east of Euphrates

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The military forces around what is left of ISIS enclave and near it; continue targeting the Organization before ending its presence fully as a controlling force in the east of Euphrates area, where the Syrian Observatory Human Rights monitored during the past hours of Saturday, the 19th of January 2018, bombardment by warplanes believed to be Iraqi on what is left for the Organization on the east bank of Euphrates River, in conjunction with shelling by the Iranian Forces.

the non-Syrian militias loyal to them located on the west Bank of Euphrates River on the same areas, where the bombing killed at least 20 members of the “Islamic State” Organization, and this bombing coincides with continued violent clashes between the remaining members of the Organization against the Syria Democratic Forces supported by ground forces of the International Coalition, in the vicinity of al-Baghuz Foqani and the villages connected to it at the east of Euphrates, amid exchange of targeting on the clash areas between both parties.

And with the fall of more casualties in the clashes and the continued shelling east of Euphrates it rose to 1159 the number of members and leaders of the “Islamic State” Organization, who were killed in the clashes, detonations and raids, while it rose to 626, the number of fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the 10th of November to 10 December 2018.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the 10th of December 2018 the death of 373 people including 133 children and 86 citizen women (including 211 Syrian citizens including 88 children and 57 women of Syrian nationality), also the “Islamic State” organization had executed more than 713 detainees, of who were arrested on various charges including security members and members of the Organization who tried to break away of it and escape its controlled areas.

The executions were carried out inside headquarters and detention centers of the Organization, and within its controlled areas which are today confined to the towns of Sha’afah, al-Susah, al-Baghuz and villages of Abu Hasan, Bo Badran, al-Marashdah, al-Shajla, al-Kashmeh, al-Safiya and al-Bukhatir suburb east of Hajin, which extends along the east bank of Euphrates, along with its last enclave in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continued targeting and clashes in the vicinity of the last enclave left under the control of the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the SOHR monitored shelling by the International Coalition forces today evening, Friday, on the controlled areas of the organization at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the artillery of the International Coalition fired 10 shells on the abovementioned area.

The Syrian Observatory monitored the International Coalition’s continued entry and exit from and to the contact lines and the front with the organization, amid continued clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against the members of the organization, in conjunction with exchange of targeting between the both parties in the clash areas, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition Forces continue their military operations in Deir Ezzor countryside, against the remaining members of the “Islamic State” Organization at the east bank of Euphrates River.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continued flight by warplanes of the International Coalition over the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and bombarding from time to time the remaining areas under the control of the “Islamic State” Organization, and the Syrian Observatory monitored between 13:30 and 14:00 strikes targeted area of the front and the smoke rose from the area, while the International Coalition forces continue their movement with the American Hummer vehicles and military trucks to and from the front area with the Organization.

The Syrian Observatory learned that the strikes of the International Coalition killed 16 people including 6 civilians, children, and the women, in addition to 10 members of the “Islamic State” Organization in al-Baghuz Foqani area, also the Syrian Observatory monitored aerial bombardment targeted al-Safafiyyah area and killed 7 members of the Organization, amid continuous clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces and members of the “Islamic State” Organization, and exchange of targeting in the clash areas in the vicinity of the last 15 km² of the Organization in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor at the east bank of Euphrates River.

12 were killed, on January 15, 2019, including 2 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 10 other people

SOHR, 16/01/2019

In Deir Ezzor Province, a citizen woman was killed in after the explosion of a bullet in Gharanij area located in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 6 members of the Organization in its last enclave east of Euphrates, in clashes against the SDF and bombing by the International Coalition, while 3 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed in shelling and clashes in the same area.

And 2 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in bombing and clashes against the “Islamic State” Organization and the factions.

17 members were killed, on January 14, 2019, including one member of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 16 other people who were killed in different areas and circumstances

One person joined Monday the convoy of casualties of the Syrian revolution.

In Deir Ezzor province, a young man was killed as a result of the explosion of bullets’ projectiles in Gharanij area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor countryside, of the remnants of the military operations in the area.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that gunmen in the regime forces’ uniform have killed a young man in his shop in Al-Jorah neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, which is controlled by the regime forces, where reliable sources confirmed that the killing took place after the young man had heard a strange movement in his shop and when he headed towards the sound, the thieves killed him and escaped, also the body of a young man was found near the railway at the outskirts of Al-Busayrah town, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where his body was mutilated after he had been killed, without information about the young man’s identity or about the reasons for killing him, while the body of another young man from Al-Mayadin city, was found beheaded near the roundabout of Thiban town, with out information about the party that killed him, and the SOHR also monitored finding a body of a member of Syria Democratic Forces, he was killed in Thiban town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where his head was separated from his body by a sharp tool.

While the SOHR monitored the death of 7 members of the organization in its last enclave east of the Euphrates as a result of clashes against the SDF and shelling by the International Coalition, while 4 fighters of the SDF were killed including a fighter intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that he is descended from Egypt, and he is the first Egyptian fighter to be killed within the ranks of the non-Syrian forces that participate in the SDF’s side, in the shelling and clashes in the same areas.

And one member of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them was killed in bombing and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

14 people were killed, on January 13, 2019, including 2 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 12 other people

2 fighters joined yesterday to the convoy of casualties of the Syrian revolution.

SOHR, 14/01/2019 Less than a minute

In Idlib Province, a young man was killed in shelling by the regime forces targeted areas on the outskirts al-Najeya village in the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur.

In al-Quneitra Province, a person was shot by the regime forces in the countryside of Al-Quneitra.

The Syrian Observatory also monitored 2 members of the “Islamic State” Organization in al-al-Susah town in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside on the east bank of Euphrates River, which is one of the last 2 areas where the Organization is located in the east of Euphrates, where a video showed 2 members of Deir Ezzor countryside who were captured with others in the countryside of Deir Ezzor province; during an attack against the “Islamic State” Organization months ago east of Euphrates River, and they were shot by 2 members of the Organization in a demolished house by pistols, they shoot them at their heads which killed them immediately.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the killing of 5 members of the Organization in its last enclave east of Euphrates, in clashes, bombing and shelling by the International Coalition, while 3 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed in shelling and clashes in the same area.

And 2 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in bombing and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

Explosion Kills Four Americans in Manbij

TAMPA, Fla. -

Two U.S. servicemembers, one Department of Defense (DoD) civilian and one contractor supporting DoD were killed and three servicemembers were injured while conducting a local engagement in Manbij, Syria, Jan. 16, 2019.
 
Initial reports indicate an explosion caused the casualties, and the incident is under investigation.
 
In accordance with U.S. Department of Defense policy, the names of the servicemembers are being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete.

Strike Summary
 
Between Dec. 30, 2018 and Jan. 12, 2019, CJTF-OIR conducted 575 strikes consisting of 1,147 engagements in Syria, and conducted 13 strikes consisting of 19 engagements in Iraq.
 
In Syria, 575 strikes engaged 485 ISIS tactical units, and destroyed 308 staging areas, 220 fighting positions, 105 mortar, rocket and artillery systems, 57 supply routes, 50 manufacturing facilities for improvised explosive device and vehicle borne improvised explosive device, 31 command and control nodes, 26 vehicles, 19 weapons caches, 18 mortar launching sites, 18 petroleum oil and lubricant storage facilities, 11 heavy and light weapon systems, eight reservoirs and tankers for petroleum oil and lubricants, eight pieces of heavy equipment, seven vehicle borne improvised explosive devices, six tunnels and caves, four buildings, two unmanned aircraft systems, one weapons facility, one logistics hub and one fuel storage.
 
In Iraq, 13 strikes engaged 11 ISIS tactical units, and destroyed 10 staging areas, five buildings, three tunnels and caves, one fighting position, one vehicle and one logistics site.
 
Between Dec. 30, 2018 and Jan. 12, 2019, CJTF-OIR detected 373 strikes from other actors that crossed the Euphrates River Valley. CJTF-OIR is committed to avoiding and in every case minimizing civilian casualties; CJTF-OIR calls on all other actors in the area to observe the same precautions.
 
This Coalition strike release contains all strikes conducted by fighter, attack, bomber, rotary-wing, or remotely piloted aircraft, rocket propelled artillery and ground-based tactical artillery.
