Palestinian Killed, Scores Injured and Abducted, More Air Strikes on Gaza by Israeli Occupation Forces

July 4, 2021

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kill A Palestinian Near Nablus

IMEMC, July 4, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers killed, on Saturday evening, a young Palestinian man, and injured twenty-five, in the southern area of Qusra town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Media sources in Nablus said many illegal Israeli colonialist settlers and soldiers attacked the southern area of the town, leading to protests.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in northern West Bank, said the invasion led to protests, and that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the residents and their homes.

He added that one Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Farid Ali Hasan, 20, was shot with a live round in the chest while standing on the rooftop of his home, and died from his serious wounds.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, said the soldiers also shot 13 Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused at least twelve to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

In related news, the soldiers caused 67 Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation during protests on their land in Sbeih Mountain, in Beita town, south of Nablus.

The Israeli army is trying to stop the ongoing processions carried out by the Palestinians, including nighty protests, which have been ongoing since the illegal Israeli colonialist settlers, occupied the mountain top and installed an outpost in early May of this year.

On Friday, June 11th, the soldiers killed a child, identified as Mohammad Sa’id Hamayel, 15, after shooting him with a live round in the heart, and injured more than 110 Palestinians, including 11 who were shot with live rounds, after the army attacked nonviolent protesters in Jabal Abu Sbeih mountain.

Israeli Occupation Army Fires Missiles Into Gaza

 IMEMC, July 4, 2021

The Israeli occupation army fired, on Saturday at night, several missiles into a site, south of Gaza city, and another area northeast of the city.

Media sources said an Israeli fighter jet fired at least two missiles into a building south of Gaza city, causing excessive damage without leading to casualties.

It is worth mentioning that the site was also targeted with Israeli missiles, on Saturday at dawn.

They added that an Israeli drone also fired at least one missile into a building in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, causing excessive damage.

The Israeli army claimed it targeted what is called “a weapons manufacturing facility,” and a site used for firing shells into the Eshkol regional council of settlements.

It also claimed the missiles were also fired in retaliation to flammable balloons that were reportedly flown from Gaza.

Illegal Israeli Settlers take Control of Palestinian-owned Property in Silwan

 IMEMC, July 4, 2021

On May 27, 2021, a legal agreement regarding the sale of the building in Wadi Hilweh, was made between Walid Ahmad At’out and Mahmoud Eghbariyya witnessed by attorney Nizar Salalha, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center (Silwanic) reported.

The property, in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in Silwan town, occupied East Jerusalem, was vacated by its owner on Thursday, and the property was leaked to Elad Settlement Association at dawn Friday.

At’out sold the property for a reported 4.5 Million Shekels or $1,375,000.00 U.S.

Furthermore, 20 illegal Israeli settlers, under the full protection of the occupation police, took over an apartment, warehouses, a plot of land, and a building under construction.

The Wadi Hilweh neighborhood, located near the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque on the southern side, has more than 50 illegal settlement outposts and is the most targeted by settlement associations.

Silwanic added that there have been several incidents where the owner sells the home to another Palestinian, who then sells to colonial interests, thereby avoiding the direct responsibility of the sale of the property.

Israeli Warplanes Strike Gaza for the Fourth Time Since “Cease-fire”

 IMEMC, July 4, 2021

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime air force, on Saturday, pounded the besieged Gaza Strip for the fourth time since the Egypt-brokered ceasefire on May 21, 2021, according to Quds News Network.

Israeli jets fired missiles at sites in the Bader and Al Sudaniyyah regions of the tiny coastal enclave, there were no reports of any injuries.

The Israeli media claimed the airstrikes were in response to fires in nearby settlements, purportedly set by “incendiary balloons” released into the air by Palestinian resistance groups.

Furthermore, on Thursday night, the airforce hit several targets in the southern Gaza Strip, no injuries were reported.

Between May 10 and May 21, Israel bombarded the tiny coastal enclave, killing 230 Palestinians, until an Egypt brokered ceasefire was imposed on May 21, 2021.

On May 28, a statement by Michelle Bachelet, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights stated the following;

Appalling events in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territory have once again called this Council into Special Session. We have recently witnessed the most significant escalation in hostilities since 2014.

According to figures verified by my Office, 242 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli Security Forces (the ISF) in strikes on Gaza, including 63 children. Thousands of others have been injured while it is estimated that over 74,000 Palestinians have been displaced. In the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, 28 Palestinians, including five children, were killed as of 24 May. At the same time, rockets launched by Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups killed 10 Israeli citizens and residents including two children, and forced thousands into shelters.

Palestinians have nowhere safe to hide from the advanced Israeli arsenal, while Israelis have bomb shelters and an air defence system which stops the majority of the rockets fired by the Palestinian resistance factions.

242 Palestinians were injured in the most recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, while 10 Israelis were killed. 63 Palestinian children were killed by Israeli missiles and shells, while 2 Israeli children were killed.

United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA):

Protection of Civilians Report | June 15-28, 2021

Highlights

Israeli occupation forces killed two Palestinians, a boy and a woman, in separate incidents across the West Bank. On 16 June, during continuing Palestinian protests against the establishment of an Israeli settlement near Beita (Nablus), Israeli forces shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy; since this settlement was established in early May, Israeli forces have shot and killed five Palestinians with live ammunition during protests in Beita. The same day, a 29-year-old Palestinian woman, who according to the Israeli military claims, tried to run over soldiers with a vehicle and then brandished a knife, was shot and killed near Hizma (Jerusalem).

On 24 June, Palestinian forces arrested a Palestinian political activist, and critic of the Palestinian government; a few hours later, he died of wounds allegedly sustained during the arrest. The Palestinian authorities have launched an investigation into his death. As a result of the death, Palestinians have been demonstrating across the West Bank. Palestinian forces fired teargas and stun grenades and injured or arrested people who participated in some of the protests.

One Palestinian man in Gaza died of wounds sustained during the 10-21 May escalation. According to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), 260 Palestinians were killed during the recent escalation in Gaza, including 66 children. It has been assessed that 129 of them were civilians and 64 were members of armed groups, while the status of the remaining 67 has not been determined.

Israeli forces injured at least 1,075 Palestinians, including 238 children, across the West Bank. Some 790 of these, including 237 children, were injured during the above-mentioned protests in Beita, 78 were in East Jerusalem, 77 in Kufur Qaddoum (Qalqilia), 74 in Al Mughayyir (Ramallah) and the rest in other locations. Six of those injured were hit by live ammunition and 245, including 47 children, by rubber bullets. During the protests in Beita, at least 154 Palestinians were injured either while running away from Israeli forces or in circumstances that could not be verified (these 154 injuries are not included in the 1,075 above-mentioned). On 25 June, Israeli forces shot and detained a Palestinian who they say was planning to carry out a stabbing attack near an Israeli settlement in the northern West Bank; according to Palestinian sources, the man has a mental health condition.

Israeli forces carried out 144 search-and-arrest operations and arrested 180 Palestinians, including seven children, across the West Bank. Forty-nine of the operations were in Nablus, 29 in Hebron, and 20 in Jerusalem the rest across various governorates. Forty-five of those who were arrested were in Hebron and the rest elsewhere.

The Israeli authorities demolished, seized or forced the demolition of 24 Palestinian-owned structures across the West Bank for lacking building permits. This displaced 23 people, including 11 children, and otherwise affected more than 1,200 Palestinians. Most of those affected were in the Massafer Yatta area of Hebron, where on 23 June the Israeli authorities destroyed for the second time three roads and the main water pipeline serving multiple communities; the previous demolition was on 9 June and roads and pipeline were then repaired. Overall, 16 of the structures and 20 people displaced were in Area C, the rest were in East Jerusalem.

Israeli settlers injured at least nine Palestinians, including four girls. The latter were pepper-sprayed in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem, as was a woman, in a separate incident. In At Tuwani (Hebron), settlers injured two women with stones, including a 73-year-old with disabilities. Two other Palestinians were assaulted and injured in separate incidents in Hebron. On two occasions, settlers attacked Palestinians in Al Mughayyir, Ramallah. Israeli forces intervened in both incidents, injuring 74 Palestinians (who are included in the above-mentioned injury count by Israeli forces). In several other incidents across the West Bank perpetrators known or believed Israeli settlers damaged Palestinian-owned vehicles, over two hundred trees, water systems, agricultural structures, a workshop, electrical equipment, construction materials and other properties.

Stone throwers known or believed to be Palestinians injured at least 8 Israeli settlers in the West Bank. At least 49 Israeli-plated cars were damaged, according to Israeli sources.

In Gaza, between 15 and 20 June, Palestinians demonstrated near the perimeter fence with Israel against ongoing restrictions, with some participants launching incendiary balloons into Israel and causing multiple fires. Israeli forces shot and injured four Palestinians in these protests and carried out airstrikes on Gaza, reportedly targeting military sites. On at least 10 other occasions, Israeli forces opened warning fire near the perimeter fence and off the coast, reportedly to enforce access restrictions, and conducted two land levelling operations inside the Gaza, near the perimeter fence.
