While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic nams as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

On World Childrens Day, dreams of Palestinian children are decimated by the Israeli genocidal war and continuous military occupation

RAMALLAH, Monday, November 20, 2023 (WAFA)

As children around the world today celebrate World Childrens Day, the dreams of the Palestinian children are decimated by the measures of the Israeli occupation, said the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

World Childrens Day this day at a time when the lives, rights, homes, schools, and dreams of Palestinian children are being deliberately and systematically decimated by the illegal Israeli occupation regime. Palestinian children face ongoing arbitrary, indiscriminate, and excessive use of force, resulting in a tragic situation of widespread suffering and long-lasting trauma, said the Foreign Ministry in a statement.

Over the past six weeks, Israels murderous assault on Gaza has killed more than 5500 children while thousands of others remain under the rubble and presumed dead. Thousands more are injured. Palestinian children who survive this slaughter are made to endure inhumane conditions of displacement, starvation, dehydration, and lack of basic elements of life imposed on them by Israel, the occupying Power, it added.

This atrocious reality also extends to Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank, where the occupying army and settler militias have displaced dozens of families and murdered 96 children since the start of 2023, including 53 who were killed in the past 44 days. Meanwhile, 200 Palestinian children languish in Israeli detention centers, deprived of their most basic rights, said the Foreign Ministry.

It added: The structural and systemic violence against children is emblematic of the illegal occupation regimes entrenched agenda of perpetual colonization, dispossession, and apartheid. This campaign of cruelty against Palestinian children as well as the prospects of their life in dignity, safety, and freedom is a deliberate assault on Palestines future.

The State of Palestine will continue to take determined steps to protect and defend the dignity, rights, and life of Palestinian children, including seeking accountability for war crimes committed against children.

In this connection, we call on the United Nations Secretary-General to finally include the Israeli occupying forces and settler militias in the United Nations list of parties that commit grave violations affecting children in situations of armed conflict. Furthermore, the State of Palestine calls on all states, particularly the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions, to take effective action to put an end to the ongoing military aggression on Palestinian children, including by holding Israeli government officials, military commanders, and forces, as well as settlers accountable for their grave breaches and heinous crimes against Palestinian children.

On World Childrens Day, Palestinian Ministry of Education calls for protecting right of Palestinian children to education

RAMALLAH, Monday, November 20, 2023 (WAFA)

Marking World Childrens Day, which coincides today, the Palestinian Ministry of Education, and in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of more than 5000 children, called for protecting the right of children to education.

The scenes of the killing of children and students in the Gaza Strip violate all norms and conventions, said the Ministry of Education in a statement. These horrific scenes, broadcast on television and the media, reveal the mentality of the Israeli occupation and its continued targeting of education in all governorates of the country, including the West Bank and Jerusalem governorates where there are scenes of killings in cold blood, storming of schools, and obstruction of the arrival of students and educational staff to their schools.

The Ministry said that on this World Childrens Day, it calls on the countries and institutions of the world to protect the right of Palestinian children and students to life and education, and to stand up to the occupation and the oppressive practices of its army and settlers in their continuous targeting of children, stressing the natural right of Palestinian children to a decent life and a safe and stable education.

It also called on all organizations and institutions defending childhood and the right to education to assume their responsibilities within the context of their jurisdiction, curb the escalating violations and stop the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against children, students and educational staff in all regions, and to intervene urgently and immediately to stop this aggression.

More than 5,000 children, including more than 3,000 students, in the Gaza Strip were killed in the Israeli aggression since October 7, and 23 students were killed in West Bank schools.

Unlawful Israeli strikes illustrate callous disregard for Palestinian lives, says Amnesty International

RAMALLAH, Monday, November 20, 2023 (WAFA) -

Amnesty International has Monday said in a statement that unlawful Israeli strikes illustrate callous disregard for Palestinian lives, noting to further evidence of Israeli war crimes killing 46 Palestinian civilians and that victims of attack on church include three-month-old baby and woman aged 80

As part of its ongoing investigation into violations of the laws of war, Amnesty International has documented two illustrative cases in which Israeli strikes killed 46 civilians, including 20 children. The oldest victim was an 80-year-old woman and the youngest was a three-month-old baby. These attacks must be investigated as war crimes.

The attacks, which occurred on 19 and 20 October, hit a church building where hundreds of displaced civilians were sheltering in Gaza City and a home in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Amnesty International, based on its in-depth investigation of these events, has determined that these strikes were indiscriminate attacks or direct attacks on civilians or civilian objects, which must be investigated as war crimes.

These deadly, unlawful attacks are part of a documented pattern of disregard for Palestinian civilians, and demonstrate the devastating impact of the Israeli militarys unprecedented onslaught has left nowhere safe in Gaza, regardless of where civilians live or seek shelter, said Erika Guevara-Rosas, Amnesty Internationals Director of Global Research, Advocacy and Policy.

We urge the International Criminal Courts prosecutor to take immediate concrete action to expedite the investigation into war crimes and other crimes under international law opened in 2021.

The harrowing accounts from survivors and relatives of victims describing the devastating human toll of these bombardments offer a snapshot of the mass civilian suffering being inflicted daily across Gaza by the Israeli militarys relentless attacks, underscoring the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire.

Horrendous Gaza violence must stop, says UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

RAMALLAH, Sunday, November 19, 2023 (WAFA)

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Trk said in a statement on Sunday that 'the horrendous events of the past 48 hours in Gaza beggar belief.'

"The killing of so many people at schools turned shelters, hundreds fleeing for their lives from Al-Shifa Hospital, amid continuing displacement of hundreds of thousands in southern Gaza, are actions which fly in the face of the basic protections civilians must be afforded under international law," he said.

"Images purportedly taken in the aftermath of the reported Israeli strike on Al-Fakhoura school are horrifying, clearly showing large numbers of women, children and men severely wounded or killed. At least three other schools hosting displaced Palestinians have also been attacked in the past 48 hours. Israeli military operations have been continuing inside and around Al Shifa hospital. UN colleagues visited the site yesterday, and witnessed first-hand what they described as a death zone. Medical personnel, patients, and civilians have fled the hospital, ordered to do so by the Israeli military. Hundreds were seen making their way south on foot, at great risk to their lives, health and safety. And to where? Nowhere is safe in Gaza."

"In Khan Younis, the Israeli Defense Forces are dropping leaflets demanding residents go to unspecified recognized shelters, even as strikes take place across Gaza. Already displaced Palestinians - deprived by extreme restrictions on life-saving assistance - are struggling to meet their basic needs, forced into ever-diminishing, over-crowded, unsanitary unsafe spaces. Irrespective of warnings, Israel is obliged to protect civilians wherever they are," he added.

"Rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of distinction, proportionality and precautions in carrying out the attacks must be strictly adhered to. Failure to adhere to these rules may constitute war crimes. The pain, dread, and fear etched on the faces of children, women and men is too much to bear. How much more violence, bloodshed and misery will it take before people come to their senses? How many more civilians will be killed?"

"This must stop. Humanity must come first. A ceasefire - on humanitarian and human rights grounds - is desperately needed. Now," he concluded.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza and the West Bank claims lives of 12,916 Palestinians, by early 45th day

RAMALLAH, Monday, November 20, 2023 (WAFA) -

The Palestinian Ministry of Health Monday evening announced that the number of slain Palestinians has risen to 12,916, while the number of wounded has risen to about 32,850, since the beginning of the comprehensive Israeli genocidal aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7th.

The Ministry explained, in its daily report on the aggression, that it is facing great difficulties in obtaining updated data for the 7th day in a row due to the interruption of communications services in the Gaza Strip, and the collapse of service and communications in hospitals in the northern Strip.

It indicated that the number of slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as of Sunday's evening, amounted to more than 12,700, including about 5,350 children, 3,250 women, and 695 elderly people, while the number of injured reached more than 30,000 injured.

Displaced people from the north said that corpses are in the streets, and as of November 15, more than 4,500 Palestinians are still missing, including 3,500 children who are still missing and presumed to be trapped or died under the rubble.

205 health personnel and 36 civil defense personnel were killed, and more than 220 health workers were wounded. More than 60 ambulances were attacked, 55 of which were damaged and out of service.

The Ministry also added that the Israeli genocidal airstrikes yesterday carried out by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime on Al-Shifa Hospital continued, and at least one patient was abducted during inspection operations and interrogations conducted by the Israeli occupation forces.

Reports have said that the occupation forces continued to besiege and bomb the Indonesian Hospital and Al-'Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, killing and injuring a number of civilians.

The Ministry indicated that 26 of 35 hospitals in Gaza, and 52 of 72 primary health care clinics, or more than two-thirds, stopped working due to damage caused by bombing or lack of fuel, and the remaining nine hospitals are operating partially.

It explained that out of 24 hospitals that have the capacity to receive inpatients in the north, there is one hospital, which is the Arab National Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which is currently working and receiving patients in light of great difficulties.

18 hospitals have been closed and evacuated since the start of the aggression, including three hospitals in the past three days: Al-Nasr, Ranteesi, and Al-Quds.

The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters day 45

November 20, 2023, GAZA, (PIC) +-

For the 45th consecutive day, Israels massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the Gaza Strip as its army attacked today the Indonesian Hospital and continued to bomb homes, shelters and buildings.

Since last night and Monday morning, dozens of citizens have been martyred and many others have been wounded in renewed aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of Gaza.

On Sunday evening, the health ministry in Gaza estimated that the death toll surged to over 13,000 martyrs, mostly women and children, while the number of the wounded citizens climbed to over 30,200, although the real number of casualties is believed to be much more than that as there are many civilians still under the rubble of buildings.

According to the latest developments, the Israeli occupation army attacked the third floor of the Indonesian Hospital, including the inpatient department and the intensive care department, killing several patients and some of their relatives and wounding others.

Spokesman for the health ministry Ashraf Al-Qudra warned that the Israeli occupation forces advanced towards the Shaikh Zayid City in Bait Lahiya (northern Gaza), besieged the Indonesian Hospital with tanks and snipers and bombed its third floor.

The artillery attack on the hospital killed at least 12 civilians, including patients, caregivers and doctors, and wounded many others.

We are now stranded inside the hospital, and anyone who tries to leave is shot by the occupation forces. We will continue covering any developments, one of the journalists at the facility reported.

The situation is extremely bad, and medical crews are no longer able to provide any services for the sick and wounded, the journalist added.

According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, there are thousands of patients, wounded and displaced people, and medical personnel inside the besieged hospital.

In a street near the Indonesian Hospital, Israeli tanks also bombed at dawn Monday the School of Kuwait, which houses displaced families, killing and injuring a large number of civilians.

For his part, director general of the Gaza hospitals Mohamed Zaqqout said that Israeli troops also attacked the Kamal 'Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya and ordered its evacuation.

Zaqqout affirmed that it would be impossible to evacuate the Kamal 'Adwan Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital, which are filled with hundreds of sick and wounded civilians, including those in the intensive care units.

A number of casualties were also reported today when Israeli tanks bombed displaced people in Abu Qamar street near the Khilafa junction in northern Gaza.

Earlier, at least 17 civilians were killed and several others were injured when an Israeli warplane bombed at dawn two homes belonging to the families of Abu Shallouf and Dthuhair in eastern Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip.

Over 30 civilians were also martyred and many others were wounded during dawn aerial attacks on the refugee camps of A-Buraij and Nusayrat in central Gaza.

Warplanes also bombed several homes in Dair El-Bala'h City in central Gaza over the heads of their residents.

Other deadly Israeli attacks on homes and buildings took place in different areas of Gaza in the past few hours, while ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach many of the victims, especially in Gaza City and the north.

On day 45 of Israel's war on Gaza, hospitals, schools sheltering displaced people bombed, dozens of casualties

GAZA, Monday, November 20, 2023 (WAFA)

On the 45th of the brutal Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured as the bombing of hospitals and schools sheltering displaced people, as well as homes and buildings, continues unabated since October 7.

After destroying Al-Shifa Hospital in the south of Gaza City and putting it totally out of service, the Israeli occupation regime forces surrounded at dawn the Indonesian Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip, targeting it with artillery shelling, which led to the death of 12 wounded people receiving treatment in it, while two medical personnel were wounded.

Medical sources said that the occupation artillery targeted the second floor of the hospital, which is the only one that receives those wounded from the aggression in the northern Gaza Strip.

They pointed out that thousands of displaced people inside the hospital, and about 150 wounded, in addition to the medical staff and workers in the hospital, whose number does not exceed 100, fear a massacre that the occupation forces may commit in the hospital by tightening the siege and continuous bombing.

The Israeli occupation forces are besieging the hospital with dozens of armored military vehicles in an area of less than one square kilometer, in addition to the deployment of snipers on the roofs of buildings near the hospital, which prevents ambulances from reaching it to transport the wounded since it is the only hospital that is partially operational in the north of the re-occupied Gaza Strip.

Also, 15 people were killed, including children and women, and dozens were injured after warplanes bombed homes near Abu Yousuf Al-Najjar Hospital, in Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip.

Tonight, the occupation warplanes launched a series of intense raids in the northwest of the city of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip, leading to the death and injury of dozens.

Local sources reported that the occupation warplanes bombed with dozens of missiles the vicinity of the residential city of 'Hamad, northwest of Khan Younus, which led to the death of dozens of people, most of them children and women, and the injury of others, in addition to a raid on the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younus.

In Gaza City, a number of people were killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli artillery shelling of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, in addition to another bombing in the al-Sabra neighborhood, while dozens of people were still trapped under the rubble in light of the rainy weather conditions and the difficulty of the arrival of the civil defense and ambulance crews to rescue them.

At dawn, the Israeli occupation regime artillery bombed the Kuwait School, near the Indonesian Hospital, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the artillery and tanks, which surrounded the Indonesian Hospital and bombarded its surroundings since the early hours of the night, fired several shells directly towards the Kuwait School, which is sheltering a number of displaced people.

The number of killed and injured, and the damage caused by the barbaric Israeli bombing on the school, was not known due to the interruption of communications in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as the inability of ambulances to reach the place due to the siege imposed by the occupation forces on the Indonesian Hospital and its surroundings, while initial reports speak of dozens of people killed and injured in the bombing.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip exceeded 12,200, including about 5,000 children, 3,250 women, and 690 elderly people, while the number of injured reached more than 29,500, and more than 4,000 are still missing, including 2,000 children.

At the same time, 205 health personnel and 36 civil defense personnel were killed, along with more than 215 wounded health workers. More than 60 ambulances were attacked, 55 of which were damaged and put out of service, while 26 of 35 hospitals in Gaza, and 52 of 72 primary healthcare clinics were out of service due to damage resulting from the bombing or lack of fuel.
