In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter promise (of punishment) comes, (our worshippers) will sadden your faces, and will enter the Masjid, as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they will take over, with (total) destruction" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

*** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces*** On November 28, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on the Gaza Strip resulted in 3 main massacres, in which 48 Palestinian civilians were killed, and the 53 others were injured, in the past 24 hours (from a specific time of yesterday to a specific time of today). This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 44,330 and the injuries to 104,933, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. *** Israel's genocide in Gaza: 48 Palestinians killed in 24-hour span GAZA, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 48 Palestinians and the injury of 53 others, according to medical reports. Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 44,330 reported fatalities, with an additional 104,933 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children. According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews. Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. M.N. *** Four Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Khan Younus GAZA, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – At least four Palestinians were killed and several others wounded this evening in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources. WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering a displaced family behind the Abu Matar Mosque, located southwest of Khan Younus. The attack resulted in the murder of four civilians, including a child, and left several others injured. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,330 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,933 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. M.N. *** Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters day 419 Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 419th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas. Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens. The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 55, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area. Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services. According to local sources, Al Jazeera correspondent Talal Al-Arouqi was injured when an Israeli strike targeted him directly in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza. Four people were martyred and others were injured when an Israeli drone bombed a motorcycle in 'Abasan al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza. The Israeli occupation army also attacked a group of citizens in Al-Qarara town in the north of Khan Younus, killing two of them and injuring others. A child was martyred in an Israeli strike on a house in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City. The Israeli occupation army also killed four citizens in aerial attacks on two homes in Bait Lahya and another citizen in Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza. More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today. *** Several Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Gaza GAZA, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians were killed this evening as Israeli occupation forces launched airstrikes in the southern Gaza Strip, targeting civilians in Khan Younus and Rafah. WAFA correspondent said at least three Palestinians were killed when an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of people in the Qaa' al-Qarein area, located southeast of Khan Younus. Additionally, several others were reported killed in a separate Israeli airstrike that hit a group of people near the Khirbet Al-'Adas intersection, north of Rafa'h. Medical sources reported that since the early morning of today, at least 25 Palestinians have been confirmed killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip. M.N. *** The vicinity of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital subjected to most violent attacks since last Jabalya invasion Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip, 'Husam Abu Safiya said on Wednesday evening that the vicinity of the hospital has been witnessing the fiercest Israeli aggression since the start of the last Jabalya invasion. Abu Safiya added in a press statement that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have been continuing intensive targeting of the area with artillery shelling and dropping grenades from drones in the vicinity of the hospital. This came after Israeli occupation warplanes launched violent raids on the vicinity of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital. Footage showed plumes of smoke rising in the sky following violent shelling in the area, while a number of martyrs and wounded were transferred to hospital. At least three martyrs were recovered on Thursday morning after the IOF had bombed a group of citizens in front of the hospital’s entrance. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed a residential tower in the vicinity of the hospital. For the 55th day, the IOFs have been continuing its military aggression on the northern Gaza Strip, with intensive attacks on Bait Lahya and Jabalya. *** Israeli airstrike on Gaza City claims one life and leaves several injured GAZA, November 29, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian young man was killed and several others were injured last night in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, according to local sources. The sources reported that Israeli forces targeted a five-story building on Kashko Street in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, located south of Gaza City. The building, which belonged to the Al-Surai'hi family, was hit by the airstrike, resulting in the murder of one citizen and injuries to others. Additionally, it was reported that Israeli drones fired at paramedic teams attempting to reach the site of the attack, preventing them from providing medical assistance to the victims. Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. M.N. *** Torn by war, drowned by the sea: Gaza’s displaced families fight for survival this winter By 'Hatim Abu Daqqa GAZA, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – In the makeshift refugee camps along the southern Gaza Strip, winter has arrived as a merciless guest, inflicting unbearable hardship on displaced families. The fragile tents, hastily erected amidst the windswept dunes of Rafah and Khan Younis, are no match for the biting cold and the relentless waves of rain that are now sweeping across the coastal region. As the sea encroaches upon their temporary shelters, displaced families face yet another brutal test of survival. Last night, as rain lashed against the tents, the cries of the displaced filled the air, waking them from their sleep as water poured into their tents without warning, an uninvited guest in the dead of night. For many, like Ahmed Khalifa, a 46-year-old father of eight, the storm was more than just an inconvenience. Khalifa sat in his tent, his face etched with concern as he watched his children tremble in the cold, their clothes soaked through by the pouring rain. With no dry clothes to change into, and no blankets to protect them, they huddled together for warmth. “We were asleep, and then at midnight, the rain started coming in from all sides of the tent,” Khalifa recounted. “I knew the tent wasn’t strong enough to withstand this much rain, but I don’t have the means to reinforce it.” This was the third time that week Khalifa had found himself in this situation, unable to repair his tent or afford a new one. After a long and bitter night, Khalifa spent the morning building sand barriers around his tent, hoping to stop the incoming flood. His wife, meanwhile, waited for the sun to rise so she could dry their children’s wet clothes and furniture, hoping to salvage whatever they could from the downpour. The situation is particularly dire for those living along the coast, where the rising tide has begun to seep into the tents, as water levels from the sea breach the sandbanks. Mohammad Al-Zamili, a 27-year-old father from Rafa'h, shared the harrowing experience of nearly losing his son to the sea. “If it weren’t for God’s mercy, my son would have drowned. The waves pulled him in, but we managed to pull him out in time,” he said, his voice filled with a mixture of gratitude and fear. Al-Zamili, like many others, struggles daily with the most basic needs. “I don’t have enough money to buy bread for my wife and daughter. The prices keep rising, and I haven’t worked in over a year. The war has taken everything—my home, my job, my possessions,” he explained, highlighting the dire economic conditions that have compounded the challenges faced by displaced families. Ali Mansour, a 64-year-old father, stood outside his tent early this morning, watching his children scramble to move containers into the middle of their shelter to prevent rainwater from soaking their sleeping mats. His shelter, which houses two families, is little more than a worn-out piece of fabric covered with a layer of nylon. The intense heat of summer had already degraded the material, and now it is struggling to hold up against the winter storms. “I was hoping to receive a new tarp from the UNRWA, but two weeks ago I was told there weren’t enough supplies,” Mansour said, his voice tinged with frustration. “We can’t keep living like this.” Local estimates suggest that over 100,000 tents have been destroyed by strong winds and rising sea levels, leaving families in even more precarious conditions. In the past week, the rain and wind have flooded tents, while the lack of resources—such as tarps and nylon sheets—has made it nearly impossible for families to make repairs. The plight of those living along the beach has worsened in recent days, with the waters of the Mediterranean reaching deep into the tents, causing further damage. In some areas, entire families have lost their belongings to the waves, with some even narrowly escaping death as they scrambled to higher ground. “We have been calling out for help, but no one listens,” said Al-Zamili, his face filled with a mixture of despair and exhaustion. “We need shelter away from the beach. We can’t keep living like this, waiting for the next wave to come and destroy everything.” The number of displaced persons in Gaza has reached nearly two million since the Israeli aggression began in October 2023, out of a total population of 2.3 million. Many have sought refuge in schools, relatives’ homes, or even in the streets, making do with whatever they can find. The lack of food, clean water, and adequate shelter has led to widespread disease, further exacerbating the crisis. The ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza has claimed over 145,000 lives, most of them women and children, and left more than 10,000 missing. The humanitarian situation is catastrophic, with entire neighborhoods obliterated and essential services non-existent. Despite a resolution from the United Nations Security Council calling for a ceasefire, Israel continues its assaults in Gaza, disregarding the international community’s calls to halt the bloodshed and address the growing humanitarian disaster. M.N. *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** Palestinian child injured by IOFs gunfire in the West Bank Thursday 28-November-2024 Jineen, (PIC) A Palestinian child was injured on Wednesday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire during a raid in Faqqu’ah village, east of Jineen in the northern West Bank. Local sources said that a child suffered a minor bullet injury during an IOFs raid in the village and was taken to a medical center. They added that Israeli forces stormed the village’s streets while opening fire randomly at local youths before withdrawing to the military checkpoint of Jalamah. *** Palestinian man injured by Israeli gunfire near Qalqilya QALQILYA, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening while he was on his land on the outskirts of the villages of Jayyous and Al-Nabi Elias, located east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank. Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the man, striking him in the foot while he was on his property. The victim’s condition is currently stable. M.N *** Several Palestinians kidnaped, others injured in IOFs raids in the West Bank Thursday 28-November-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens and injured young men during overnight and morning raids in different areas of the West Bank. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped at dawn three citizens from Nour Shams refugee camp and another one from Dthinnaba suburb in the east of Toulkarm City. In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from their homes in Kafr Malik village and Baitunia town. One young man was reportedly injured by IOFs gunfire in Turmus 'Ayya town, north of Ramallah. Israeli occupation soldiers also savagely beat two young men, residents of Al-Sawiya town, at the entrance of Sinjil town in Ramallah province and injured them. One young was reportedly injured in his shoulder by IOFs gunfire when Israeli soldiers opened fire at his car from a house they had seized yesterday in Al-Mughayyir town, northeast of Ramallah. In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Israeli police officers severely beat a young man in Qalandya refugee camp and injured him before kidnapping him. Last night, police forces of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime stormed Abu Dees town in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), assaulted some citizens and fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades at local residents before withdrawing without making kidnappings. In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man from his home in 'Hal'houl town. Israeli occupation forces also stormed Idhna town in the west of al-Khalil and ransacked two homes. Local sources said that soldiers raided the house of prisoner Shi'hada al-Jiyawi, who has been in jail for over 20 years, and seized a car belonging to his son Nimr. In Jineen, armed clashes broke out in the morning between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Qabatya town. Local sources said that the clashes started after Israeli occupation forces aboard vehicles and bulldozers stormed Qabatya and embarked on raiding homes. At dawn, resistance fighters from the Toulkarm Brigade detonated an explosive device at an IOFs vehicle in Jabel Nasir area in Nour Shams camp and opened fire at infiltrating special forces. The Toulkarm Brigade, an affiliate of al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad, affirmed that a number of soldiers were injured during clashes in Al-Damj neighborhood in Nour Shams refugee camp. *** *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Injuries among Palestinian civilians in attack by the illegal Israeli settlers near Nablus NABLUS, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian citizens sustained bruises and suffered suffocation from teargas in an attack by Israeli occupation forces and illegal Israeli settlers in the village of Salim, located east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Local sources reported that a number of civilians sustained minor injuries as they attempted to defend olive harvesters being attacked by Israeli colonists. The colonists, who were escorted by Israeli military forces, targeted farmers in the region while they were picking olives in the eastern part of the village, an area to which locals are often restricted access. The situation escalated when Israeli soldiers launched a barrage of tear gas canisters, causing several citizens to suffer from suffocation due to teargas inhalation. According to the same sources, the farmers had ventured to the olive groves in the restricted area, only to face an assault by dozens of Israeli colonists. The Israeli military sealed off roads in the area to prevent local residents from coming to the farmers' aid. The Palestinian Authority's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reports that since the beginning of the olive season, Israeli forces and colonists have carried out dozens of attacks against Palestinian farmers, with incidents of violence continuing to rise. In October alone, the commission documented 1,490 violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers against Palestinians, their land, and property, particularly in the West Bank. M.N. *** Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Thursday 28-November-2024 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Dozens of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers escorted by police forces desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Thursday morning. The settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection, according to local sources. During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates. The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays. Recent months have seen an unprecedented increase in settler break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque and an increase in settler violations against the Islamic holy site during Jewish holidays. Meanwhile, Jerusalemite figures and activists have warned that settlers went overboard in their daily desecration of the Aqsa Mosque as part of accelerating Israeli attempts to Judaize the Mosque. They urged Muslim worshipers to intensify their presence at the Mosque to protect it against desecration and Judaization. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack olive pickers, steal the fruits east of Nablus Thursday 28-November-2024 NABLUS, (PIC) A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked on Thursday Palestinian farmers while picking olive fruits, in the village of Salem, east of Nablus. According to local sources, a group of settlers from the Alon Moreh settlement assaulted Palestinian farmers in the Khalet Al-Mousa area, north of Salem village, caused damage to the olives and stole a harvesting machine. The olive season in the West Bank this year witnesses repeated attacks from settlers and Israeli occupation forces (IOF), including killing, burning, and cutting olive trees, stealing crops, and preventing farmers from reaching their lands. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, the IOF and settlers have carried out 407 attacks against Palestinians since the start of the olive season, including 120 attacks carried out by the IOF and 242 others by settlers, in addition to 45 joint attacks. These attacks ranged between violent physical attack, which led to the martyrdom of a Palestinian man at the hands of settlers in the town of Sebastia near Nablus, and a woman who was killed in IOF shooting in the town of Faqouh in Jenin Governorate. Israeli attacks also included arrest campaigns, blocking traffic, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, and all forms of intimidation. *** IOFs razes two buildings in Jerusalem, hands over demolition notices in Tulkarem Thursday 28-November-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) demolished on Thursday two Palestinian buildings in Jerusalem and handed over home demolition notices to Palestinian families in the Al-Shuwaikeh suburb of Tulkarem in the West Bank. The IOFs razed two buildings in agricultural lands located between the towns of Bait Annan and Bait Luqia in Jerusalem, owned by Jamiee Rabee' and Enad Hamid. The IOFs reportedly stormed the Al-'Eisawiya town and Qalandya refugee camp in Jerusalem, and arrested a young man, from Qalandia camp, north of Jerusalem, after sabotaging his family’s house and beating him severely. His father and brother are both imprisoned in Israeli jails. The town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, also witnessed last night an Israeli aggression, as the IOF assaulted its citizens, while firing teargas and stun grenades. In Tulkarem, the IOFs handed over notifications to demolish the homes located in the vicinity of the apartheid wall in Al-Shuwaikeh suburb, north of Tulkarem. Israeli demolition policies have escalated in the West Bank and Jerusalem, aiming at displacing the Palestinians and expanding the illegal Jewish settlements, amid the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** All EU member states have to execute ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu: EU spokesperson BRUSSELS, November 28, 2024 (WAFA) – All EU member states “are under an obligation to execute arrest warrants issued by the ICC,” EU spokesperson Peter Stano told Anadolu Agency in a written statement on Thursday, specifically noting the warrants issued for two top Israeli officials in the ongoing war on Gaza. Taking note of the arrest warrants, Stano wrote that the EU is “strongly committed to international criminal justice and the fight against impunity.” The bloc supports the ICC and “the principles set out in the Rome Statute” – which founded the court – as well as the court’s “independence and impartiality,” Stano also said. The ICC’s mandate is “to prosecute the most serious crimes under international law,” he said, stressing that all EU member states “that have ratified the Rome Statute … are under an obligation to execute arrest warrants issued by the ICC.” The International Criminal Court (ICC), in a landmark move last week, issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, where more than 44,000 people have been killed since October 2023. Before his dismissal earlier this month, Gallant led the persecution of the ongoing war. While some EU countries announced they would implement the warrants if the Israeli officials set foot on their territory, others were less clear, and one said there would be no arrests. M.N. *** UNRWA says Israel blocked all UN attempts to deliver aid to northern Gaza Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) UNRWA said on Thursday that Israeli authorities denied 82 of 91 attempts by the UN to deliver aid to northern Gaza between early October and November 25. Israel also impeded nine other attempts to bring humanitarian supplies to the north of the territory, which has been under an Israeli military siege and constant bombardment for more than 50 days, according to social media remarks by UNRWA. “The conditions for survival are diminishing for the 65,000-75,000 people estimated to remain there,” UNRWA added. UNRWA warned that thousands of families who fled the besieged areas in northern Gaza “are now sheltering in the cold and rain without blankets, mattresses and waterproof shelters.” “The situation is beyond miserable,” it said. On Wednesday, UNRWA warned that “hunger in Gaza is at critical levels, with people scavenging through weeks-old waste for scraps of food.” “As winter approaches, conditions are rapidly deteriorating, and survival is impossible without immediate humanitarian aid,” UNRWA said, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. *** WHO: 12,000 patients need urgent specialist health care outside Gaza Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The World Health Organization (WHO) chief said on Thursday 17 patients from Gaza were evacuated to Jordan for specialized medical treatment. “Six of the patients require cancer treatment, and 11 need treatment for war injuries,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on X on Thursday, adding that they were accompanied by 17 people. According to Tedros, 12 of the patients will continue receiving care in the US. “We urge for all corridors from Gaza to be utilized to ensure medical evacuations can happen smoothly and quickly — thousands of patients are still waiting for specialist health care.” Tedros also said at least 12,000 patients need urgent specialist health care outside Gaza as medical evacuations receive green flags rarely, especially after the closure of the Rafah border. *** UNRWA: 15,000 pregnant women in Gaza on verge of famine Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) Over 550,000 women in the Gaza Strip are reported to be facing acute hunger and more than 15,000 pregnant women are estimated to be on the verge of famine, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday. In an X post, UNRWA reported that there are around 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza, with 4,000 deliveries expected in the next month alone. It also pointed out that heavy rains and limited aid worsen conditions for Gaza’s displaced people. According to the UN agency, 2024 has become the deadliest year on record for humanitarian personnel with 281 personnel killed globally, most of them being UNRWA staff in Gaza. *** UN rapporteur: France’s Netanyahu immunity claim from ICC has ‘no’ legal validity Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The UN special rapporteur on Palestine on Thursday rejected France’s immunity claims regarding the arrest warrants issued against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant by the International Criminal Court (ICC), arguing such immunity has “no” legal validity. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on Wednesday that certain leaders could have immunity under the Rome Statute, the treaty establishing the International Criminal Court (ICC). Barrot highlighted that the Rome Statute “deals with questions of immunity for certain leaders,” adding that such matters ultimately rest with judicial authorities. Asked in an interview whether this claim has any legal validity, Francesca Albanese said: “No, because it’s been already resolved by the court in the case of Omar al-Bashir in the past, and no one (argued).” “The argument of the state immunity cannot be made. The court has already said it,” Albanese said. She underlined that hindering the enforcement of an ICC arrest warrant could be considered a violation of Article 70 of the Rome Statute. “I want to point to the fact that obstructing the execution of an ICC arrest warrant could be seen as a breach of Article 70, an obstruction to the administration of justice, which is an offense, a criminal offense in itself,” she said. She also described France’s contradictory approaches toward the warrant against Netanyahu and the one issued against Russia’s President Vladimir Putin back in March 2023 – a non-party state – as “double standards.” Last week, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. *** UNICEF: 2,500 children in Gaza need medical evacuation for treatment abroad Thursday 28-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) UNICEF spokesperson Kazem Abu Khalaf announced that 2,500 children in the Gaza Strip urgently require medical evacuation. In a press statement on Thursday, he noted that “the situation in northern Gaza is extremely difficult and tragic, and is worsening,” indicating that 30% of children in Gaza suffer from acute malnutrition. Abu Khalaf revealed that 95% of schools housing displaced people in Gaza have been completely destroyed. On October 26, UNICEF reported that the rate of medical evacuations for children from Gaza had dropped from 296 to 22 per month following the Israeli occupation of the Rafah border crossing on May 7. Earlier this month, the World Health Organization confirmed that 14,000 injured individuals in Gaza require medical evacuation. The organization emphasized that the healthcare system in Gaza has “collapsed, and there is no longer any place for those needing specialized medical care.” Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army, with complete American support, has waged a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 149,000 martyrs and injured, most of whom are children and women, with more than 10,000 missing. This has led to immense destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and the elderly, marking one of the worst global humanitarian disasters. *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
