While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Tens of thousands perform Eid prayer at the Aqsa Mosque despite Israeli restrictions

Friday 6-June-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Around 80,000 worshipers attended the 'Eid prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Friday despite tightened Israeli security measures.

Worshipers flocked to the holy Islamic site amid an atmosphere of spirituality while chanting religious slogans reflecting the Palestinians’ insistence on their right to freedom of worship.

Israeli police officers boosted their presence in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)  and at its gates, erecting barriers and checking IDs of worshipers before blocking entry of many of them in a desperate attempt to reduce the number of worshipers entering the holy site.

'Haneeni: Smotrich’s remarks about the West Bank “colonial illusions”

Friday 6-June-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Senior Hamas official Abdul-'Hakeem 'Haneeni has condemned the recent remarks by far-right Israeli minister Bezalel Smotrich, who declared his plan to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, calling them “colonial fantasies that will be shattered by the solid resilience of our people.”

“The settlement projects that the occupation is racing to establish in the West Bank cannot change the reality and identity of the land, nor will they shake the firm conviction of our people and resistance that the occupation will inevitably come to an end, no matter how far it persists in its brutality and arrogance,” Hanini said in a statement on Thursday night.

“What Smotrich said is nothing but a continuation of the policy of imposing faits accomplis on the ground, which has failed over decades of occupation and will never succeed, neither now nor in the future. Our Palestinian people in the West Bank will not stand idly by watching these malicious attempts to loot their land and legitimize the occupation,” the Hamas official added.

He stressed that Israel’s annexation and sovereignty plan in the West Bank would be met with more Palestinian steadfastness and resistance, adding that every inch of the West Bank would remain aflame with anger against the occupation state and its settlers.

On the anniversary of their birthday, the mother of two martyrs lights candles over their grave

Tuesday 3-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

With a small cake and hands trembling with longing, Nour Al-Nabiha, known as “The Mother of Martyrs,” made her way to the Martyrs’ Cemetery east of Gaza City to mark the birthday of her two children, Rasha and Ahmad, who were killed two years ago in an Israeli airstrike that turned their dreams to ashes.

Despite her chronic pain, Nour insisted on transforming this day into a moment of remembrance. She carried the cake and lit two candles atop the small gravestones, in a heavy silence broken only by tears and bittersweet laughter—a desperate attempt to summon life from the rubble.

A celebration at the edge of death Rasha would have turned eleven, and Ahmad was just a week away from his twelfth birthday—but Israeli warplanes outran their dreams.

That night, Nour lost them both in an instant. Since then, she has never abandoned her annual ritual: candles, cake, and memory.

“Rasha loved to draw, and Ahmad dreamed of becoming a pilot… he didn’t know that a pilot would end his life,” Nour says, wiping away a tear that fell onto the slice of cake. “How can the person who pressed the button sleep at night? How can he hold his children?”

Questions to a silent world conscience The grieving mother’s questions are not seeking answers—they are a cry hurled at a silent and absent human conscience, in a world where children are reduced to mere numbers in news reports and statistical charts.

But Nour, like so many mothers in Gaza, refuses to let her children become statistics.

“Rasha and Ahmad are not just numbers—they were hearts beating with life, and they still are in my memory,” she says with a steady voice that hides a volcano of pain beneath.

A memory that won’t die In the cemetery, between the two gravestones, Nour carved her children’s names with her own hands. She has no luxury of forgetting. Instead, she turns memory into an act of resistance, refusing to let time erase the faces of those she loved.

This “different kind of celebration,” as she calls it, was not a passing moment of grief—it was a living testimony to ongoing loss in a place where the bombing never stops and mothers never sleep.

Endless aggression, undying memory Amid the ongoing attacks and the continued killing of children in airstrikes, Nour believes that resisting forgetfulness is the only weapon she has left.

“I may not be able to bring Rasha and Ahmad back,” she says, “but I can keep their names alive, no matter how much death surrounds us.”

In Gaza, where cemeteries have become fields of longing, mothers continue to light candles—not only over the graves, but in the face of the darkness.

Israeli attacks on Gaza continue to claim more lives

Friday 6-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Friday to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

Since dawn today, at least 35 Palestinians have been reportedly martyred in Israeli attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporters in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli shooting attack on aid seekers near the US-backed distribution point in the west of Rafa'h, southern Gaza. Eight people were reportedly shot dead and dozens were injured by Israeli gunfire in the area.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a house belonging to the family of journalist Abdul-Ra'hman Khadhir killed three people.

Two other citizens were martyred following an Israeli strike on Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara town in northern Khan Younus.

An unknown number of casualties were reported following Israeli attacks on five homes in Jabalya Al-Balad area in northern Gaza.

The Israeli army also targeted a tent sheltering a displaced family in southern Khan Younus, killing three civilians and injuring four others.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Death toll of Israeli strike in Jabalya rises to 10

GAZA, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

The death toll arising from an Israeli strike that targeted Jabalya in the northern war-battered Gaza Strip earlier on Friday rose to 10, according to WAFA correspondents.

They said that an Israeli fighter jet targeted a house belonging to the Najjar family in Jabalya Al-Balad, claiming the lives of 10 civilians and injuring others.

Earlier today, an Israeli combat drone targeted a charging point for cell phones between tents sheltering displaced people to the west of Khan Younus, claiming the lives of four and injuring others, at a time when Israeli forces opened fire at an aid distribution center to the west of Rafa'h, claiming the lives of four.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

The death toll reached at least 4,402 with 13,489 others wounded, according to medical sources. Emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble.

By June 5, 2025, the bodies of 70 slain Palestinians, including three bodies retrieved from the rubble, and 189 casualties were admitted to hospitals in the Strip, noting that these numbers exclude the fatalities and casualties in the northern Strip due to inaccessibility.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing at least 54,677 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 125,530 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Three Palestinians injured in the West Bank, others kidnapped by the IOFs on first day of 'Eid Al-Adh'ha

Friday 6-June-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed at dawn Friday, the first day of the 'Eidul-Adh'ha holiday, different West Bank areas, injured three young men, and kidnapped other Palestinian citizens from their homes.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens, including three women, during raids in Nablus province.

The sources said that Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a woman and her daughter from their home in Bait Iba village and a man and his wife from the village of Zawata, in the northwest of Nablus.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from their homes in the city and opened fire at local youths, injuring one of them in his thigh.

In northern Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli police forces kidnapped a young man after raiding his home in Al-Ram town.

In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces broke into and ransacked several homes belonging to ex-detainees in Kafr Malik village, wreaked havoc on their furniture, and stole money, gold jewelry and some vehicles belonging to their families.

In Al-Khaleel, the IOFs kidnapped an ex-detainee from his home in Bait Ummar town and ransacked other homes in Al-Batn area of the town.

In Jineen, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city and kidnaped four brothers after injuring two of them.

The detainees’ mother explained that Israeli occupation soldiers encircled her house, opened fire at her son A'hmed Qatit, injuring him in his side and hand, as well as wounding her son Qusay in his leg, before kidnaping them along with her two other sons, Uday and Mohamed.

The IOFs also stormed other areas of the West Bank and raided homes, with no reported kidnappings.

Youth sustains injury from Israeli army gunfire near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian youth on Friday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in the village of Dura al-Qar', northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources.

They said that the occupying forces stormed the village, and opened live ammunition, hitting a 24-year-old young man.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews provided first aid treatment to the young man, who sustained an injury in the thigh, and transported him to a hospital.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Occupation forces continue relentless destruction of residential buildings in Toulkarm camps

Toulkarm, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces have continued on Friday, which marked the first day of 'Eid Al-Adh'ha, the relentless destruction of residential buildings, houses, and essential civilian infrastructure, according to WAFA correspondent.

She reported that D9 bulldozer tore through as the Israeli aggression on the Toulkarm refugee camp entered its 131st day, the occupation forces commenced a large-scale demolition of Palestinian property, tearing down dozens of residential buildings, a step that came as part of Israel’s plan to demolish 106 buildings in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, including 58 buildings comprising over 250 apartments and dozens of stores in the Toulkarm refugee camp.

The occupation soldiers had issued the demolition orders 10 days ago, allowing the residents only three hours to grab their belongings. The soldiers chased, assaulted, and opened live fire at the families attempting to reach their houses despite having prior coordination.

Meanwhile, sounds of massive explosions were heard in the Nur Shams refugee camp, which has been subjected to aggression for the 118th consecutive day, giving of rising columns of smoke. The reporter could not provide any further details on what was going on due to a tight siege on the camp and intense army gunfire.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued to maintain a tight siege on both camps and their outskirts, deploying soldiers in the neighborhoods and alleys, preventing families from salvaging their belongings, and opening fire at anyone who approaches the area.

The gun-toting soldiers continued to move into residential buildings on the Nablus Street and the northern neighborhood of the city of Toulkarm, forcing families out, and turning the houses into barracks. The soldiers have been occupying some of these houses for over three months.

Israeli soldiers and army vehicles continued to roam the main streets and neighborhoods of the city and its environs, intercepting the movement of Palestinians and vehicles, driving in the opposite direction, setting up sudden checkpoints, and inspecting, interrogating and assaulting people.

The occupation forces already erected earth mounds on the Nablus Street linking the camps, causing extensive destruction and further obstructing the movement of Palestinians and their vehicles.

Israel’s military aggression started in Tulkarem refugee camps on 27 January, killing 13 Palestinians, including a minor and two women, one of whom was pregnant, injuring dozens, and arresting hundreds, and causing near-total destruction.

Latest estimates indicate that the aggression has displaced over 5,000 families from the two camps, comprising over 25,000 Palestinians, completely destroyed at least 400 houses, partially damaged 2,753 others, as soldiers continued to block the entrances and turn the camps into areas that are void of any sign of life.

Israeli occupation forces tighten restrictions at northern Jordan Valley checkpoint

JORDAN VALLEY, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening tightened the movement restrictions at Al-'Hamra checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces tightened access restrictions at the checkpoint, stopping Palestinian-registered vehicles, inspecting passengers’ ID cards, and preventing direct free passage of Palestinians between the West Bank and the Jordan Valley in both directions.

The occupation forces have tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect in January, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates from one another using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

Israeli severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

France’s Barrot says Paris still determined to recognize Palestinian state

PARIS, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

France is still determined to recognize the Palestinian state, French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Noel Barrot stated on Friday.

When asked by RTL whether France, which will co-chair this conference with Saudi Arabia in New York, would recognize a Palestinian state, Mr. Barrot reaffirmed: "We are determined to do so."

He mentioned that France and Saudi Arabia would pledge to remove the obstacles to the recognition of the Palestinian state during the international conference, scheduled from June 17 to 20 in New York.

He stated: “France could have made a symbolic decision. That is not the choice we made because we have a special responsibility; it's France, a permanent member of the Security Council.”

"If we do it, it's to change things and ensure that the existence of this Palestinian state becomes more credible, more possible," he added.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
