*** *** Four Palestinians killed in Gaza, by Israeli strikes, another dies of wounds Sunday 17-May-2026 GAZA, (PIC) Four Palestinians were martyred and others were wounded on Sunday by the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, while another citizen died of critical injuries sustained in a previous attack, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 220th consecutive day. According to medical sources, three civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on a charitable kitchen, near Shuhada El-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, in central Gaza. Earlier in the morning, a citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Karaj Rafa'h area of Khan Younus, south of Gaza. Another citizen identified as Jihad Salman died in the morning from wounds sustained in a previous Israeli strike in Bait Lahya, northern Gaza. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army carried out artillery strikes on the eastern and southern areas of Khan Younus, while its armored vehicles opened fire east and south of the city. Artillery strikes also targeted the eastern area of El-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza. *** Three Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza Sunday 17-May-2026 GAZA, (PIC) Three Palestinian civilians were martyred and others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday. According to media sources, a young man was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli strike near Abu 'Husain School in Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza. Two more citizens were killed and others were injured when Israeli aircraft targeted a car in Gaza City's El-Nasr street. *** Thousands march in funeral of commander 'Izzuddeen El-'Haddad in Gaza Saturday 16-May-2026 GAZA, (PIC) -- Thousands of Palestinians in Gaza took part on Saturday in the solemn funeral procession for 'Izzuddeen El-'Haddad, commander-in-chief of Hamas's El-Qassam Brigades, who was martyred along with his wife and daughter in an Israeli strike yesterday. The funeral procession set out from the Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque in central Gaza, with furious crowds chanting for ongoing resistance against the Israeli occupation and vengeance. Earlier, family sources said that al-Haddad was killed in a direct Israeli strike, which also claimed the lives of his wife and daughter. They joined their two sons, who had been martyred earlier during the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip. The death toll from yesterday's strikes on an apartment and a vehicle in Gaza City climbed to eight martyrs. In a related context, the Hamas Movement has mourned commander 'Izzuddeen El'-Haddad, affirming that he had dedicated his life to resisting the Israeli occupation and defending his people. "Al-Haddad today has joined a galaxy of Palestinian revolutionary leaders who were martyred for the liberation of their people, the prisoners, and El-Aqsa Mosque, "Hamas spokesman 'Hazim Qasim said in a statement on Saturday. The spokesman described the commander's death as a "heavy loss," but he stressed that "the path of resistance will press forward until its goals are fulfilled." *** Assassination attack: Palestinians killed and injured in two Israeli strikes on Gaza Friday 15-May-2026 (PIC) -- At least four Palestinians were killed and several others injured Friday evening in two Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City, amid Israeli claims that the attacks were part of an assassination operation against a resistance leader. Local sources told the PIC correspondent that Israeli warplanes fired at least two missiles at a residential apartment in the El-Mu'taz building in Gaza City, killing one person and injuring several others in an initial toll after an entire floor was destroyed and engulfed in flames. The PIC correspondent reported that the strike caused severe internal destruction to multiple floors of the residential building, while medical and rescue teams worked to recover and evacuate victims. Minutes later, Israeli warplanes targeted a vehicle in Gaza City, killing at least three Palestinians. Medical sources said 13 injured people were transferred to the El-Saraya Field Hospital operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society following the strike on the apartment in the Al-Mu'taz building. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Army Minister Israel Katz announced that an assassination operation targeting a resistance leader in Gaza had been carried out, though Palestinian sources have not confirmed the identities of those killed. Hebrew media outlets reported that the vehicle strike and the apartment bombing were connected. Separately, a Palestinian man died Friday from wounds sustained in Israeli gunfire in central Gaza amid continued ceasefire violations. A local source identified the victim as Majid 'Atiya El-Wadiya, who succumbed to injuries suffered in an Israeli strike targeting El-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza. Meanwhile, an Israeli drone targeted the minaret of a mosque in the El-Ma'hatta neighborhood in Khan Yunis, which also came under Israeli artillery shelling earlier in the day. In southern Rafa'h, the Israeli occupation forces carried out demolition operations north of the city in southern Gaza. Israeli occupation forces continue violating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza through air and artillery strikes targeting displacement areas, in addition to carrying out assassinations and demolition operations inside the so-called "yellow line," while maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, aid, and travel. According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, has risen to 859, with 2,486 injured and 771 bodies recovered. The overall toll of the Israeli assault since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,746 killed and 172,588 injured, reflecting the devastating human cost of the genocidal war on Gaza. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Palestinian killed by IOFs gunfire in the Jineen refugee camp Saturday 16-May-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) shot and killed a Palestinian citizen during a raid in the Jineen refugee camp in the northern West Bank on Saturday. The Palestinian health ministry said that 34-year-old Nouruddeen Fayyadh was martyred after he was fatally shot by the Israeli occupation forces inside the Jineen refugee camp. Local sources also reported that Israeli troops stormed the camp and opened live fire at Fayyad, killing him instantly, adding that a Red Crescent crew received his body. In a separate incident, a Palestinian citizen was shot and wounded on Friday evening by an extremist Jewish settler in the town of El-Dthahiriya, south of El-Khaleel, while Israeli forces carried out raids in different areas of the West Bank. The Red Crescent reported that an ambulance crew administered first aid to a Palestinian injured by a gunshot wound to the thigh in El-Dthahiriya. Later that night, Israeli occupation forces stormed El-Duhaisha refugee camp in Bethlehem and patrolled its streets, which provoked clashes with local youths. Similar clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers in the town of Bait Fajjar, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem). Meanwhile, a horde of settlers attacked the western outskirts of Shuqba village, west of Ramallah, setting fire to two vehicles, damaging four others, and vandalizing two agricultural structures while Palestinian citizens were inside. The settlers withdrew as Israeli forces simultaneously raided the same area of the village. *** Palestinian teenager wounded, others kidnapped by the IOFs in West Bank raids Sunday 17-May-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) A Palestinian teenager was injured and several citizens were kidnaped after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn Sunday. According to local sources, a 17-year-old boy was injured by live fire during an IOF campaign in the El-Ma'hjar area, near Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, amid raids on homes. In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped two young men following raids on homes in the town of Koabar. In Bethlehem, two young brothers were taken prisoner after the Israeli occupation forces ransacked their home in the village of 'Housan. Another citizen was kidnaped by the IOFs from his home in 'Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, in Aree'ha (Jericho). The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village of Kafr Qaddoum in Qalqilya and kidnaped a number of citizens, including the brothers of prisoner Shadi Jum'ah. The IOFs stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests. *** IOFs storm West Bank areas, kidnap Palestinians from homes Saturday 16-May-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens last night and at dawn Saturday. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two citizens from their homes in the village of Tell and another one from the town of Zawata in Nablus province. In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the IOFs detained several citizens during a raid in the town of Na'haleen. In Jineen, Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of 'Arraba and El-Jadeeda and kidnaped a young man from his home. In El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), police forces kidnaped a young man after assaulting him and ransacking his home in Shuafat refugee camp. The same Israeli occupation forces also assaulted citizens from the family of Taha after raiding their homes in Shu'fat refugee camp. In Qalqilya, the IOFs stormed the city and confiscated some bicycles and a mobile home. In a separate incident last night, two citizens sustained injuries after a horde of extremist settlers savagely beat them in al-Khalil City's El-Jabir neighborhood. *** IOAR displaces two Jerusalemite families after forcing them to raze homes Saturday 16-May-2026 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) forced two Jerusalemite citizens to demolish their own homes in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) under the pretext of unlicensed construction. According to local sources, Omar Halsa was compelled to demolish his home at his own expense in Jabel El-Mukabbir to avoid heavy fines and demolition fees imposed by the municipality if its crews carried out the operation themselves. A family of six lived in the house. The Israeli municipality had already warned him that failure to carry out the measure himself would result in demolition fees and a fine of up to 70,000 shekels. Similarly, Awatif El-Ghoul was forced to demolish her home in El-Suwai'h neighborhood of Silwan district, south of El-Aqsa Mosque, after being given the choice between self-demolition or facing exorbitant fees and fines. Today's demolition measures have left two Jerusalemite families facing displacement and an uncertain future. The Israeli municipality continues to coerce El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) residents into demolishing their own homes, while at the same time refusing to grant them building permits. The rate at which Palestinian homes and structures are demolished in east Jerusalem has almost doubled since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, human rights groups and monitoring organizations say. The demolitions are ordered by the Israeli municipality, which claims that many Palestinian homes and structures are illegally built without permission. All attempts by Palestinian families in east Jerusalem to apply for planning permission are rejected by the municipality. That means growing families say they have no choice but to build without permits and face the consequences, huge fines and demolition orders. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian worshipers in Al-Wad neighborhood, assault residents Friday 15-May-2026 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Illegal Israeli settlers assaulted residents and worshipers in the Al-Wad neighborhood adjacent to El-Aqsa Mosque before Friday prayer, while Israeli police forces arrested nine Palestinians after attacking them. The settlers attacked residents and worshipers with punches and kicks, while several Palestinians attempted to confront them but Israeli police arrested them and transferred them to the El-Qishla interrogation center. According to local sources, Jewish settlers also assaulted residents and worshipers in several other locations, including attacks on elderly Palestinians. The sources added that Israeli police simultaneously closed Bab El-Asbat (Lions' Gate) and Bab El-Malik Faysal to worshipers trying to enter El-Aqsa Mosque. They also reported that Israeli police imposed restrictions on young Palestinian men attempting to enter the Mosque for prayers. Earlier on Thursday, far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque alongside 1,336 settlers under Israeli police protection. Ben-Gvir waved the Israeli flag inside the compound and made provocative statements, saying, "We have restored sovereignty and governance to the Temple Mount (the biblical name used for Aqsa Mosque), and all of Jerusalem belongs to us." Ben-Gvir also joined Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and thousands of settlers in storming Occupied Jerusalem's Old City during the so-called "Flag March," which witnessed widespread assaults on Palestinians and racist chants such as "Death to Arabs." The incursions included violations such as performing religious rituals, including what is known as "epic prostration," and raising Israeli flags inside the compound. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles in Shuqba west of Ramallah Friday 15-May-2026 RAMALLAH, (PIC) Illegal Israeli settlers set fire to a Palestinian vehicle and smashed the windows of two others on Friday evening during an attack on the outskirts of the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah. A local media source said settlers attacked the area surrounding an agricultural structure on the western side of Shuqba while several Palestinians were there for recreation. The settlers burned one vehicle and shattered the windows of two others before withdrawing as Israeli occupation forces simultaneously stormed the area. According to a report issued by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,637 attacks against Palestinians, their land, and property during April. The report said that Israeli occupation forces were responsible for 1,097 attacks, while settlers carried out 540 attacks. It added that the assaults were concentrated mainly in the governorates of Nablus with 402 attacks, followed by al-Khalil with 340, Ramallah and El-Beereh with 312, and Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) with 171. *** 'Hamas: Settlers' arson attack in W. Bank village reflects organized terrorism Saturday 16-May-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the arson attack that was carried out at dawn Friday by an illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settler group in the village of Jibiya, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. "The continued crimes and terror of settlers against our people in the occupied West Bank, most recently the burning of a mosque in the village of Jibiya northwest of Ramallah and several citizens' vehicles early Friday, reflect the scale of organized terrorism carried out by rogue settler militias under the protection of Israel's extremist right-wing government," senior Hamas official Ma'hmoud Mardawi said in a statement. "These crimes aim to displace our people and empty the land of its inhabitants through killing, arson, intimidation, and systematic oppression, all under the protection of the Israeli occupation's security and political institutions," Mardawi added. The 'Hamas official warned that international silence over such escalation in the West Bank only encourages the occupation and its settlers to persist in their crimes. He emphasized the need for Palestinians in West Bank villages and towns to close ranks against settler attacks, stressing that such crimes cannot uproot them from their homeland. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Palestinian National Popular Action Committee: Nakba is an ongoing crime Friday 15-May-2026 BEIRUT, (PIC) The Palestinian National Popular Action Committee issued a statement on Friday on the 78th anniversary of Nakba affirming that its repercussions are still felt in our present days. Here follows the text of the statement: "On the seventy-eighth anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, the Palestinian National Coordinating Body for Popular Action affirms that the Nakba is not merely a painful memory, but an ongoing crime and a continuing settler-colonial project, whose tools are being renewed today through the genocide in Gaza, ethnic cleansing, the escalation of settlement expansion, the Judaization of Jerusalem, the targeting of the right of return, and attempts to dismantle UNRWA and eradicate the Palestinian cause in all its national and political dimensions. What is taking place today is not a new chapter separate from the Nakba, but rather a continuation of the very same settler-colonial project; the methods may change, but the objective remains the same: to uproot the Palestinian people from their land and eliminate their national rights. At this stage, our Palestinian people are facing one of the most dangerous conspiracies in modern history, as they confront systematic attempts to break their will, erase their rights, and liquidate their cause under the cover of war, displacement, siege, and dubious settlement deals, amid blatant international complicity, shameful silence, and every form of political collusion targeting Palestine, its land, people, identity, and rights. While the Committee condemns all those who participate in, remain silent about, or gamble on projects aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause, it affirms that Palestine is not a bargaining chip, that the right of return cannot be erased, and that El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) is neither a cause to be Judaized nor one open to compromise. The blood of our people and their sacrifices are greater than all narrow calculations and suspicious agendas. Today, national duty requires the mobilization of all Palestinian and Arab energies, along with the support of free people around the world, in the battle to defend the Palestinian presence and strengthen our people's steadfastness on their land in the face of the occupation and its supporters, to defeat all projects of displacement and liquidation, and to uphold the full and inalienable historic national rights of the Palestinian people. The Nakba will remain a witness to the crime, just as our people will remain a testament to the fact that Palestine is neither forgotten, nor for sale, nor to be erased, and that the determination to liberate the land and achieve return is stronger than all conspiracies." *** 'Hamas marks Nakba anniversary with calls to criminalize Israeli occupation globally Friday 15-May-2026 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement said Israel has "no legitimacy or sovereignty" over Palestinian land as the Movement marked the 78th anniversary of the Nakba with calls for the international community to criminalize the Israeli occupation of Palestine and hold Israeli leaders accountable for ongoing violations against Palestinians. In a statement released on Thursday, 'Hamas said Palestinians continue to face what it described as massacres, forced displacement and systematic oppression decades after the 1948 Nakba. The Movement accused Israel of escalating its policies in recent years into a campaign of "genocide, starvation and ethnic cleansing" in Gaza, saying the humanitarian consequences remain catastrophic. 'Hamas also accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire agreement reached last October through continued air strikes and attacks on civilians, saying more than 850 Palestinians had been martyred since the ceasefire came into effect. The Movement said Israeli policies in the West Bank and Jerusalem, including settlement expansion, forced displacement and repeated raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, reflected an ongoing effort to impose new realities on the ground. 'Hamas further condemned proposed Israeli legislation targeting Palestinian prisoners, including a law allowing the execution of detainees. Describing the 1948 displacement of Palestinians as one of the gravest crimes of the modern era, Hamas argued that similar policies are now being repeated in Gaza, the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem amid what it called international silence and double standards. The Movement reiterated that El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and El-Aqsa Mosque remain central to the conflict, insisting that Palestinians would continue defending the holy site and their claim to Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state. 'Hamas also reaffirmed that resistance against occupation is a legitimate right under international law, rejecting calls for the disarmament of Palestinian factions while Israeli occupation continues. The Movement urged the United Nations and international human rights organizations to intervene to protect Palestinian prisoners, prevent the approval of execution laws and push for the release of detainees held in Israeli prisons. 'Hamas concluded by praising growing international solidarity with Palestinians and calling for continued global mobilization to end the war on Gaza and support Palestinian rights to freedom, return and self-determination. *** PPS: 23,000 Palestinians detained since 2023 as arrests become "colonial tool" to dismantle society Saturday 16-May-2026 RAMALLAH, (PIC) The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said Israel's mass arrest policy has long served as a central pillar of its settler-colonial project targeting Palestinians through a systematic structure of repression, isolation, torture and enforced disappearance, warning that these practices have escalated dramatically since the start of the war on Gaza Strip. In a statement marking the 78th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, the PPS said Israeli forces have detained around 23,000 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank since October 2023, including women, children, wounded individuals and former prisoners. It noted that the figure excludes thousands of arrests carried out in Gaza, where Israel continues to forcibly conceal the fate and whereabouts of many detainees from the enclave. The rights group said the war has not only expanded the scale of arrests, but also intensified abuses inside Israeli prisons and detention camps, which it described as "organized spaces of torture, starvation, humiliation and systematic medical deprivation" aimed at crushing prisoners both collectively and individually. According to the PPS, the current phase represents the deadliest period in the history of the Palestinian prisoner movement since 1967, amid escalating cases of torture, sexual abuse, starvation and medical neglect. It said 89 Palestinian prisoners whose identities have been confirmed have died in Israeli custody since the war began, including detainees who died as a result of torture, starvation or "deliberate medical crimes." The latest figures raise the number of known Palestinian prisoners who have died in Israeli custody since 1967 to 326, while Israel continues, according to the statement, to withhold information about dozens of detainees from Gaza who died in custody. The group stressed that the current prison policies cannot be separated from the broader reality of the ongoing Palestinian Nakba, noting that mass detention policies date back to before 1948 through the British mandate's emergency laws and military court systems later expanded by Israel into one of its primary tools of control over Palestinians. Over the decades, more than one million Palestinians have been detained, the organization said, as part of efforts to target Palestinian collective consciousness and dismantle social and political structures. Despite this, Palestinian prisoners transformed Israeli prisons into arenas of resistance, organization and national awareness. The group also highlighted the role of hunger strikes as a key form of resistance inside Israeli prisons and a central tool in the struggle for dignity and basic rights. The statement further accused Israel of attempting to dismantle the organizational structure of the Palestinian prisoner movement through what it called "systematic terror" against prisoners and detainees, insisting that such measures would fail to break their will or erase their national role in the Palestinian struggle. According to the latest figures cited by the PPS, Israeli occupation authorities are currently holding more than 9,400 Palestinian prisoners, including 86 women, 3,376 administrative detainees and 1,283 Gaza detainees classified by Israel as "unlawful combatants" under exceptional legal measures that rights groups say facilitate arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance. *** =============================================================================================================================== ÈöÓúãö Çááåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóÜٰäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö "ãöäú ÃóÌúáö Ðóٰáößó ßóÊóÈúäóÇ Úóáóìٰ Èóäöí ÅöÓúÑóÇÆöíáó Ãóäøóåõ ãóäú ÞóÊóáó äóÝúÓðÇ ÈöÛóíúÑö äóÝúÓò Ãóæú ÝóÓóÇÏò Ýöí ÇáúÃóÑúÖö ÝóßóÃóäøóãóÇ ÞóÊóáó ÇáäøóÇÓó ÌóãöíÚðÇ" (ÇáúãóÇÆöÏóÉõ ¡ 5: 32). In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise comes, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
