While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Spanish Foreign Minister calls for immediate, permanent ceasefire in Gaza

MADRID, Monday, April 22, 2024 (WAFA) –

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albarez called for a permanent ceasefire, warring against the repercussions regarding a full-scale Israeli military operation in the city of Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip.

Jose Manuel Albarez said that the international community cannot remain indifferent and should act to achieve an urgent ceasefire.

The Spanish Foreign Minister stressed before the meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Luxembourg that recognition of the Palestinian state is absolutely necessary if we want a political solution to the situation in the Middle East, and the two-state solution means making peace final and irreversible, and avoiding continuing cycles of violence.

Albarez warned against the conflict spreading to Lebanon, and said, “The possibility of the conflict spreading to Lebanon worries us, because its dimensions will change, and because Lebanon is a fragile and tense state.”

UNICEF: Children in Palestine have been caught in a tragic and vicious cycle of violence

Monday 22-April-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Children in the State of Palestine have been caught in a tragic and vicious cycle of violence for too long. This is a war disproportionately affecting children, said UNICEF Regional Director Adele Khodr.

In the past 72 hours, three Palestinian children were killed in the latest military operation in Toulkarm, in the West Bank, she added, noting that at least 14 others were reportedly killed in Rafa'h, Gaza, on the same day.

She wrote on an X post: “The killing of children needs to stop. We need a ceasefire now.”

This came after the IOF stormed Nour Shams refugee camp last Thursday and committed appalling crimes against its local residents, killing and injuring dozens, kidnapping others, and destroying homes and infrastructure.

The IOF reportedly killed 14 citizens and injured dozens during its three-day campaign in the refugee camp of Nour Shams in Toulkarm.

On Sunday, thousands of Palestinians marched in the funeral of the 13 martyrs who were killed during the Nour Shams military attack.

The new martyrs bring the total number of those killed in the Nour Shams refugee camp since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 to 56.

'Hamas: Haniyya’s Turkey visit not to replace Qatari-Egyptian mediation

Monday 22-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Tahir Al-Nunu, the media advisor to the Hamas Political Bureau Chief, Isma'eel Haniyya, said on Sunday, that Haniyya’s visit to Turkey comes at a very critical time.

Holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes was among the topics discussed with the Turkish leadership, he pointed out.

“We do not seek to replace the valued Qatari-Egyptian mediation with Turkish mediation, and the visit is not related to this matter,” the Hamas official further added.

Al-Nunu also said that the Israeli occupation still refuses a comprehensive ceasefire and the return of the displaced people, which does not lead to any agreement.

“The influential figures in the Israeli government are not serious about reaching an agreement to end the war on Gaza,” he pointed out, adding, “Israel’s only achievement is targeting civilians and destroying infrastructure, and it has not achieved any of its goals.”

Earlier Saturday, Haniyya and a delegation from the Movement’s leadership, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara to discuss the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the efforts made to reach a ceasefire.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the necessity of providing continuous humanitarian aid to the people in the Gaza Strip, as well as Turkish diplomatic efforts to support the Palestinian cause, particularly in light of the genocide being waged against the Palestinian people in the Strip.

'Hamas: US approval of $26 billion military assistance to Israel confirms complicity in the genocide

Sunday 21-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has condemned the endorsement of the US House of Representatives of a bill that provides military and security assistance to Israel amounting to $26 billion.

In a statement on Sunday the Movement said that “this step confirms the official American complicity and partnership in the genocidal war waged by the fascist occupation army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of innocent martyrs, in addition to the systematic destruction of cities, residential neighborhoods, and all civil facilities and infrastructure in the Strip.”

Hamas added that “the US administration and its President, Joe Biden, personally bear the political, legal, and moral responsibility for the war crimes committed by Israel against our Palestinian people through this support that violates international law. It serves as a license and green light for the extremist Zionist government to continue its brutal aggression against our people and flagrantly violate all international laws and humanitarian norms.”

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of civilian martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom are children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.

Several Palestinians were injured in a new settler attack on Burqa town, east of Ramallah, late on Sunday.

Local sources reported that a group of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers attacked Burqa from the northern and western entrances, accompanied by a large number of Israeli occupation forces (IOFs), amid heavy gunfire.

During the raid, the settlers set fire to a barn belonging to the citizen Nidtham Ali Ma'atan after slaughtering a number of livestock.

The illegal Israeli settlers also attacked the residents who came to put out the fire, and injured many of them. Ambulances were prevented from transferring the injured.

The illegal Israeli Jewish settlers tried to storm a house on the northern side of the village, and other houses on the western side, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Similar clashes were reported in a number of West Bank villages and towns, including 'Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, east of Toulkarm, Kharbatha Al-Misba'h, west of Ramallah, and 'Harmala, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).
