*** *** *** ý Impacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip*** UN chief calls on Israel to reverse NGOs ban in Gaza Saturday 3-January-2026 NEW YORK, (PIC) UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called on Israel to end a ban on humanitarian organizations that provide aid in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, saying he was deeply concerned at the Israeli step. Guterrescalls for this measure to be reversed, stressing that international non-governmental organizations are indispensable to life-saving humanitarian work and that the suspension risks undermining the fragile progress made during the ceasefire, his spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement released on Friday. This recent action will further exacerbate the humanitarian crisis facing Palestinians, the spokesman added. The Israeli occupation regime suspended on Thursday 37 foreign humanitarian organizations from accessing the Gaza Strip after they had refused to provide it with information about their Palestinian employees. The ban includes Doctors Without Borders (MSF), which has 1,200 staff members in the Palestinian territories, mostly in Gaza. The banned NGOs have been ordered to cease their operations by March 1. *** Eight Arab and Muslim states urge Israel to lift restrictions on aid entering Gaza Friday 2-January-2026 GAZA, (PIC) The foreign ministers of eight Arab and Muslim countries have called on Israel to immediately lift restrictions on the entry of essential supplies into the Gaza Strip, warning of a rapidly worsening humanitarian catastrophe. The appeal came in a joint statement signed by the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The ministers expressed deep concern over the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, which they said has been compounded by severe and unstable weather conditions, including heavy rainfall and storms, alongside the continued lack of adequate humanitarian access. They cited acute shortages of life-saving supplies and the slow pace of entry of materials needed to restore basic services and establish temporary shelter. They stressed that harsh winter conditions have exposed the extreme fragility of the humanitarian situation, particularly for around 1.9 million displaced people living in inadequate shelters. Flooded camps, damaged tents, collapsing structures previously hit by Israeli attacks, freezing temperatures, and widespread malnutrition have sharply increased life-threatening risks, especially for children, women, the elderly, and people with serious medical conditions, including heightened danger of disease outbreaks. The ministers praised the efforts of UN agencies, particularly UNRWA, as well as international humanitarian NGOs, for continuing to provide assistance under extremely difficult and complex conditions. They called on Israel to ensure that the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations can operate in Gaza and the West Bank in a sustained, predictable, and unrestricted manner, stressing that any attempt to obstruct their work is unacceptable given their central role in the humanitarian response. The statement reaffirmed full support for UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and for the comprehensive plan presented by US president Donald Trump, expressing readiness to contribute to their successful implementation in a way that ensures a lasting ceasefire, ends the war on Gaza, secures a dignified life for the Palestinian people, and opens a credible path toward Palestinian self-determination and statehood. In this context, the ministers underscored the urgent need to immediately launch and expand early recovery efforts, including the provision of safe and dignified permanent shelter to protect civilians from harsh winter conditions. They urged the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities and to pressure Israel, as the occupying power, to immediately lift all restrictions on the entry and distribution of essential supplies, among them tents, shelter materials, medical aid, clean water, fuel, and support for sanitation services. The ministers also called for the immediate, full, and unhindered entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza through the UN and its agencies, the rehabilitation of infrastructure and hospitals, and the opening of the Rafah crossing in both directions, in line with the comprehensive plan put forward by president Trump. *** ****** Gaza: Death toll climbs to 71,384 martyrs Saturday 3-January-2026 GAZA, (PIC) The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 71,384 martyrs, according to the Palestinian Ministry on of Health, on Saturday. The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 171,251 people. In its daily report, the Ministry said that hospitals received three civilian bodies, including one from a previous attack, and 18 wounded people over the past 48 hours. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 418 Palestinians have been killed, and 1,171 others have been injured. To be noted, 110 slain Palestinians were added to the cumulative toll after their records were finalized and formally approved by the committee responsible for verifying those killed, covering the period from December 26, 2025, to January 2, 2026. *** Israeli army kills three Palestinians, commits fresh ceasefire violations in Gaza Saturday 3-January-2026 GAZA, (PIC) A Palestinian young man was killed in the east of Gaza City on Saturday, amid renewed Israeli ceasefire violations in different areas of the war-ravaged territory. A medical source reported that Haroun Bahar, 27, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces near the bombed site of the bus station in Gaza City's Shuja'iya neighborhood. Later, an 11-year-old girl identified as Fatima Marouf was killed by IOFs gunfire in Beit Lahia town, north of Gaza. Another female citizen identified as Senyoura El-Sheesh, 45, was shot dead by Israeli forces in the same town. A citizen also sustained a bullet injury in his abdomen near Nasir Hospital in western Khan Younus. Meanwhile, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out three airstrikes east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza, while helicopters and tanks opened fire towards the city's eastern areas. An Israeli fighter jet also launched an airstrike east of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza, while a strike was reported in the east of Gaza City. Another airstrike targeted a site in Rafah, south of Gaza, amid intensive gunfire from ground forces and gunboats. Last night, a medical source at El-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported that four Palestinians, including a woman and two children, sustained serious injuries after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering a displaced family outside the Israeli army deployment areas, particularly in El-'Atatira neighborhood of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The attack was followed by artillery shelling targeting the same area. *** Woman killed by Israeli army gunfire in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza Archive photo GAZA, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) - A Palestinian woman was killed by gunfire from Israeli occupation forces on Saturday in the town of Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza, according to medical sources. The sources identified the woman as 45-year-old Sunyora al-Shish, who was killed by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahiya. With her fatal shooting, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli military in Gaza since the morning has risen to three, in addition to two others who were injured by Israeli gunfire during an attack on the rear yard of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis. According to local health authorities, at least 684 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire began on October 11, with 1,171 others injured, while 684 bodies have been recovered. M.N *** Storm floods displacement camps in Gaza, killing a child as humanitarian crisis deepens Friday 2-January-2026 GAZA, (PIC) Hundreds of displacement tents across Gaza were flooded from late Thursday night into Friday morning as a powerful winter storm battered the besieged enclave, worsening already dire humanitarian conditions in open displacement areas. Field sources said torrential rain and strong winds inundated roads and tents in the al-Mawasi areas of Khan Yunis and Rafah in southern Gaza. Dozens of tents were blown away by high winds, compounding the suffering of families living without basic safety or shelter. In a tragic development, Malak Rami Ghanim, a young girl living with her family in a displacement tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, died from extreme cold amid the storm, as families lack heating and adequate medical care. Palestinian Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said the recent succession of storms has caused widespread humanitarian disasters, including the collapse of buildings previously damaged by Israeli bombardment during the genocide. Basal warned that the Civil Defense is facing a severe shortage of equipment and machinery needed to rescue victims trapped under collapsed structures, cautioning that casualties could rise if harsh weather conditions persist without urgent intervention. He called for the immediate entry of caravans and mobile homes to be installed in safe areas away from at-risk buildings, equipped with basic living necessities, steps, he said, require immediate international action to protect displaced families and begin recovery. Separately, Ismail al-Thawabta, director general of the Government Media Office (GMO), warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe due to the fragility of infrastructure after widespread destruction caused by Israeli attacks. Al-Thawabta said heavy rainfall, strong winds, the risk of flash flooding, and water accumulation in low-lying areas and near wadis are further complicating an already catastrophic situation as the storm intensifies. He stressed that conditions for affected families remain extremely difficult, with large numbers still sheltering in makeshift centers that lack minimum standards for dignified living, even as the impacts of the genocide continue. More than one million displaced people in Gaza face worsening hardship with the onset of winter, amid continued delays in allowing reconstruction materials and shelter supplies, especially caravans, into the territory. As a result, tents have become deadly traps, offering little protection from rain, wind, and freezing temperatures. The severe weather has flooded hundreds of tents, turning displacement sites into pools of standing water and leaving thousands of families, particularly children, women, and the elderly, exposed to life-threatening conditions, as international inaction persists. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Jabbareen accuses Israel of waging open war in West Bank Saturday 3-January-2026 BEIRUT, (PIC) Senior 'Hamas official, Zahir Jabbareen, has affirmed that the Israeli occupation's crimes and violations in the West Bank constitute an open war targeting both people and land. Jabarin delivered his remarks on Saturday during a ceremony marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Saleh El-'Arouri, Hamas's deputy leader, who was assassinated along with several comrades in an Israeli strike on Beirut's southern suburb. Raids, arrests, settler violence, displacement, Judaization efforts, and home demolitions are not isolated incidents but part of Israel's systematic strategy to impose new faits accomplis by force and erode Palestinian resilience," Jabarin said. "This anniversary will remain engraved in the memory of our people, our nation, and the world's free people," Jabarin said, recalling the legacy of Sheik Aruri as a leader who had a clear vision for the national liberation project. "Aruri's physical absence has not erased his spirit or his profound impact on the path of resistance," the Hamas official added. *** Two Palestinians injured in IOF raids in W. Bank Saturday 3-January-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and on Saturday morning, raiding homes and targeting Palestinian citizens. Local sources reported that Israeli forces raided the city of El-Dhahiriya, south of El-Khalil, last night, and opened fire at citizens, injuring one of them. The Red Crescent said that its paramedics transferred a wounded young man to the hospital after he was shot in the foot. Clashes broke out with Israeli forces during an IOFs raid in El-'Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil, while settlers stormed and walked in streets of Birin village, east of al-Khalil, to terrorize the local residents. In the town of Idhna, west of El-Khalil, a Palestinian sustained minor injuries after Israeli forces raided the town on Friday evening, firing live bullets and stun grenades, according to the WAFA news agency In the northern West Bank, dozens of settlers attacked the outskirts of Farkha village, west of Salfit, and fired live bullets into the air, which caused panic among families. Local sources said that Israeli forces stormed the village and provided protection for the settlers. *** Clashes and kidnappings reported in IOFs raids across the West Bank Friday 2-January-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) Several areas in the West Bank witnessed violent confrontations between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening, marked by simultaneous arrests and military raids. In Ramallah Governorate, Israeli forces stormed Jalazoan refugee camp north of the city, firing live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at youths, sparking intense clashes. Simultaneously, confrontations broke out in the town of N'leen, west of Ramallah, following an incursion by Israeli troops who fired gas canisters between residential homes. In another incident, Israeli forces arrested a young man after detaining him in the Wadi area of Kafr N'ma, west of Ramallah. In Nablus Governorate, clashes erupted as the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Burqa in the northwest and the village of Burin to the south, using heavy tear gas. Meanwhile, settlers carried out provocative acts among Palestinian homes in the Khallet El-Sidra area near the town of Mikhmas, northeast of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Settlers were also seen grazing their sheep near Palestinian homes in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, and on agricultural lands on the outskirts of Atara town, north of Ramallah. Earlier in the day, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed El-Salam Mosque in Dair Ballout, Salfeet Governorate, where they took group photos in the mosque's prayer niche and desecrated its sanctity with their shoes. *** Israeli forces detain entire family from Kisan village, east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), January 3, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces detained an entire family on Saturday evening from the village of Kisan, located east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), in the southern West Bank. Local sources told WAFA that the Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Odeh Ghazal, 55, his wife Laila Khaleel Abu Dayya, 50, their sons Abdul Ra'hman, 20, and Mohammad, 27, and Mohammad's wife Hiba Taqatqa, 25, after raiding and searching their home. Earlier in the day, more than 30 colonists stormed the village, injuring a child with gunfire, raiding a school and several homes, and damaging agricultural crops. M.N. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian citizens and homes in the West Bank Saturday 3-January-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) Groups of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked the homes of Palestinian citizens and shepherds in different areas of the occupied West Bank on Saturday.
In Masafir Yatta, local activist Osama Makhamra reported that a group of armed settlers attacked the home of Khalid alNaameen in the hamlet of Khirbet Qawawis, stormed his sheep pen, and attempted to steal the livestock before villagers managed to fend them off.
In the northern Jordan Valley, local sources reported that settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the alHimma area, assaulting residents. Another group of settlers chased shepherds in the Jbaris area, east of Tubas, attacked their livestock, killing one sheep, and fired live rounds to intimidate the shepherds and force them to leave the grazing area. *** Illegal Israeli settlers pillage Palestinian house in the West Bank town of Sinjil Saturday 3-January-2026 RAMALLAH, (PIC) A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers carried out an attack on a Palestinian house in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Friday. According to local sources, a group of settlers went on the rampage through the house of Nayef Shabana, located on the northern outskirts of the town, after smashing a window and cutting through its protection grilles. The sources said that the settlers wreaked havoc on the house's contents and stole a number of valuables from it. Since the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza started in October 2023, different areas of the occupied West Bank have seen a sharp rise in army-backed settler crimes against Palestinian citizens and their property. *** Armed illegal Israeli settlers target Salfeet town, amid rising violence in the West Bank Friday 2-January-2026 WEST BANK, (PIC) Over 50 of the illegal Israeli settlers launched an assault on the northern area of the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfeet in the occupied West Bank, on Friday evening. Mustafa 'Hammad, head of the Farkha village council, reported that settler groups approached residential areas, firing live bullets at local youth, sparking fear and tension among residents. In response, the local residents gathered to repel the intrusion, while settlers continued to shoot directly toward homes and their surroundings. Earlier that day, Israeli forces raided the town of Bait Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, firing tear gas and stun grenades in several areas without causing injuries. They were stationed at the western entrance, Deiriyyeh area, and Wadi al-Raqam, launching an intense barrage of gas canisters, though no home raids or arrests were reported. Meanwhile, a young man was injured by settlers' attack in Khirbet Ibziq, northeast of Toubas. Nidal Odah, head of the Red Crescent in Toubas, stated that the man suffered head injuries and was transferred to the hospital for treatment. In a separate incident, settlers stormed the town of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, under military protection and carried out provocative actions. The town suffers near-daily attacks on residents and their properties. In recent hours, settler attacks have surged across various areas of the West Bank. In Bethlehem, settlers led their sheep onto privately owned Palestinian land in Kisan village. Local residents intervened to prevent further encroachment. In Nablus, settlers stormed al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya again, this time targeting the historic Khan al-Lubban site. In Jericho, settlers assaulted the Ka'abneh family in Tel Samadi, al-Jiftlik area. Following the assault, Israeli forces raided the area and arrested two family members. Additionally, demolition orders were issued against several homes. In Salfit, settlers stormed a mosque in Deir Ballut and vandalized its contents. They also blocked traffic at the village junction. Around Farkha village, settler groups spread near farmlands and homes, creating panic among residents. Across the occupied West Bank, settler violence has escalated sharply since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza. The attacks are often coordinated with armed settler groups and carried out under the protection of Israeli forces, significantly increasing the threat to Palestinian residents. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Health, 1,102 Palestinians have been killed and 9,034 injured in the West Bank since the Gaza war began in October 2023 due to assaults by both Israeli forces and settlers. *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** UN chief calls on Israel to reverse NGOs ban in Gaza Saturday 3-January-2026 NEW YORK, (PIC) UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called on Israel to end a ban on humanitarian organizations that provide aid in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, saying he was deeply concerned at the Israeli step. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
