Israeli strikes kill 10+ across Lebanon, family of four wiped out in the Southern town of Zawtar El-Sharqiya

Entire family of four killed in Zawtar El-Sharqiya as Israeli aggression continues across the South, Biqaa', and Beirut's southern suburb.

Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes across Lebanon on Thursday, killing more than 10 people since dawn in strikes that spanned the country's south, the Biqaa' Valley, and Beirut's southern suburb.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an entire family of four was martyred after an Israeli airstrike directly targeted their home in the town of Zawtar El-Sharqiya at dawn.

In the nearby town of  Jumayjmeh, a separate Israeli strike killed two people and wounded six others, according to preliminary reports.

The mukhtar (local administrative official) of the town of Kufour and his wife were also killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted them at dawn.

Israeli warplanes additionally raided the towns of Toul, Jibsheet, Majdal Selm, Kfar Riman, 'Odysseh, Dair El-Siryan, Tallouza, Zibqeen-Yatter, and Touleen across southern Lebanon. 

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent also reported a series of Israeli air raids in El-Zahrani and phosphorus artillery shells fired at Yo'hmor El-Shaqeef.

Biqaa', Beirut targeted

In central Biqaa', the Israeli occupation carried out a drone strike on a vehicle along the Za'hleh-El-Karak Highway, killing two people.

Beirut's southern suburb was also struck again on Thursday morning, extending a campaign of overnight raids that had already targeted the area late Wednesday.

Ongoing aggression

Wednesday overnight, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburb, striking buildings across Ghobayry, 'Harit 'Huraik, 'Hadath, Laylaki, 'Hayy Madhi, and other neighborhoods. 

Three people were martyred and six others wounded in two consecutive Israeli strikes along the Airport Road in Beirut, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health.

In Tripoli, an Israeli strike on a residential apartment in the Beddawi refugee camp killed two people and wounded a woman, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed.

The cumulative death toll between March 2 and the evening of March 4 reached 72 martyrs and 437 wounded.

Earlier Wednesday, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Na'eem Qasim stated that Lebanon could no longer tolerate ongoing Israeli violations of its sovereignty, warning that "patience has limits" after more than 15 months of continued aggression and over 500 martyrs. Shaikh Qasim emphasized that the recent war was pre-planned by Israel and not triggered by any single incident.

  'Israel' launches overnight raids on Beirut’s southern suburb, Tripoli

Israeli occupation forces launch new airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburb and South Lebanon, targeting 'Harit 'Huraik and al-Sawana, with several martyrs reported in the latest aggression.

The Israeli occupation carried out a series of airstrikes on Lebanon late Tuesday, targeting Beirut’s southern suburb and areas in the country’s south, Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported-

According to Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent, the latest Israeli raid on the southern suburb of Beirut did not strike the previously threatened building, but instead hit another structure. The airstrike targeted an apartment in the 'Harit 'Huraik area, opposite the 'Aamil Association.

Shortly afterward, the occupation launched a new strike on the southern suburb, with reports indicating that part of the previously threatened building in Haret Hreik was also targeted in the raids carried out minutes later.

Israeli aggression also extended to southern Lebanon, where an airstrike targeted the town of El-Sawana in the Marji'youn district. Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed that several people were martyred in the Israeli raids that struck southern Lebanon moments earlier. The exact number of casualties has yet to be officially announced.

In Tarablus (Tripoli), El-Beddawi refugee camp, Israeli occupation forces launched an airstrike that targeted a building. According to our correspondent, preliminary reports indicate two martyrs and one injured in the attack.

Hezbollah SG: Lebanon can no longer tolerate Israeli aggression

Earlier on Wednesday, Lebanon can no longer tolerate the ongoing violations of its sovereignty, blaming the US-Israeli occupation and influence for driving escalating regional pressure, Hezbollah Secretary-General Shaikh Na'eem Qasim stated.

Shaikh Qasim stated that the enemy’s transgressions had “gone too far,” stressing that successive diplomatic efforts were undertaken to allow the Lebanese state to fulfill its responsibilities. “We repeatedly warned that our patience has limits,” he added.

Regarding "Israel's" repeated violations over the past 15 months, he said these transgressions were deliberately designed to leave Lebanon without leverage, undermining the country’s sovereignty.

“Our duty was to do our utmost to end this dangerous path of continued aggression,” Shaikh Qasim said. He also addressed critics of the timing that Hezbollah chose to respond to Israeli violations, wondering if 15 months of continued violations and more than 500 martyrs are not enough?

Shaikh Qasim stressed that the recent war was initiated by "Israel" and was pre-planned, and was not in response to any single rocket salvo, and that the number of martyrs had already exceeded 40 in the first 48 hours. “Aggression on Lebanon was pre-planned, not reactive,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that six people were killed in Israeli aggression on 'Aramoan and El-Sa'diyyat, and the death toll from March 2 until March 4 evening reached 72 martyrs and 437 wounded.

Israeli aggression targets two residential buildings in Mount Lebanon

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reports that the Israeli occupation launched several aggressive strikes on different areas in Mount Lebanon, striking three residential buildings.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported an Israeli attack on a hotel in the 'Hazmiyeh area of Mount Lebanon on Wednesday at dawn. 

This comes after a raid on a four-story residential building in the 'Aramoun area of the ​​'Aalay district in Mount Lebanon Governorate, noting that the attack on the area was carried out by Israeli warships.

Our correspondent also reported that another Israeli raid targeted a residential apartment in a building in El-Sa'diyat area of El-Shoaf district, in the Mount Lebanon Governorate.

In an initial toll, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported six martyrs and eight injured following the aggression.

Recap of 'Israel's' aggression on Lebanon since Monday

"Israel" began its latest escalation on Lebanon during the early hours of Monday, March 2, when Israeli occupation forces launched extensive airstrikes targeting Beirut’s Southern Suburb (El-Dha'hiyeh) and southern Lebanon.

At approximately 03:30 a.m., Israeli warplanes carried out an hour-long wave of strikes on densely populated neighborhoods in 'Harit 'Huraik, Al-Jamous, and areas near Beirut International Airport, hitting residential buildings in the Southern Suburb.

"Israel" is attempting to frame its escalation as due to the Resistance's retaliation on Sunday, but the aggression is unfolding after 15 months of Israeli violations that Lebanese authorities and UNIFIL say have surpassed 15,400 breaches since the ceasefire took effect, with hundreds killed by "Israel" in the past year.

Border towns targeted

By 05:00 a.m., the aggression had expanded across southern Lebanon. Airstrikes hit residential areas in El-Shahabiya (Tyre District) and El-Sultaniyah (Bint Jubail District), where civilians were reported killed. Raids also struck Qalaway, El-Nabatiyeh, 'Adshit, 'Harouf, Toul, and El-Kufour, broadening the scope of the bombardment.

Along the southern border, Israeli forces targeted homes and surrounding areas in Yaroun, 'Aytaroun, and El-Khiyam, as intense artillery shelling pounded border regions. An Israeli Apache helicopter fired on Yaroun, while a drone strike targeted the center of Mays al-Jabal. Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes conducted low-altitude flights over northern and western El-Biqaa', reinforcing fears of a wider theater of operations.

Israeli authorities also issued threats to dozens of additional towns across the South and El-Biqaa', signaling potential further escalation.

Morning assault spreads

As the morning progressed, the assault intensified across Tyre District. Israeli warplanes targeted Qana, 'Hallousia, Mahrouneh, and 'Ayteet, followed by raids on Ain Qana (twice), Kounin, Arab Saleem, Mansouri, Srifa, El-Burj El-Shamali, and Wadi Jeelo, among other towns. Strikes also hit areas between El-Taybeh and El-Qantara, while 'Hadatha in Bint Jubail District came under fire.

By mid-morning, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported a preliminary toll of 31 martyrs and 149 wounded, warning the number could rise as search-and-rescue operations continued and hospitals completed damage assessments.

The renewed escalation follows intensified Israeli air raids on Iqleem El-Tuffa'h heights, El-Ray'han heights, and the Barghaz Valley days earlier, underscoring the continuation of Israeli air operations despite the ceasefire framework.

Media targeted

The raids persisted throughout the day and into the night. On Monday evening, Israeli occupation forces fired six missiles at a building facing Al-Mayadeen’s headquarters in Jnah, carried out five air raids on El-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Beirut’s Southern Suburb, leveling three buildings completely, and struck branches of Al-Qardh El-'Hasan Association.

Overnight strikes also targeted Al-Manar TV headquarters, Al-Nour Radio, and another building in 'Harit 'Huraik, expanding the scope of attacks to include Lebanese media institutions.

According to the latest official update issued Monday night by Lebanon’s Disaster Management Unit, the Israeli aggression has killed 52 Lebanese civilians and wounded 154 others, with at least 28,500 displaced.
